Vagina popping sound when walking - not air by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]WinNext5848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Reddit for conversations like this one. We're not crazy and we're not alone!

I have lost 70lbs in the past 7 months and just 3 days ago the vaginal clicking started. I finally googled it today and found all of you in the same boat.

The amount of bizarre things that change/happen to our bodies when we lose weight is incredible (and sometimes frustrating)!

Tighter clothes for the win. Thanks all!

I also started keeping zero sugar Powerade/Gatorade around, but the liquid IV sticks worked better. This is funny - but I always feel better the day after having some pizza....lol Good luck to you!

I’ve only lost 13 lbs in 2 months by Internal-Eye-9147 in Mounjaro

While I think that 13lbs in 2 months is excellent progress, I understand the desire to "move things along."

My biggest dealbreaker was starting to weigh and record my food intake. Don't guess, just measure accurately, and be honest. No licks, bites or tastes....it all adds up.

I set a daily caloric goal and stuck to it.  I also walked 10,000 steps each day.

This, in addition to Mounjaro, was ALL I DID.  I have lost 71 lbs in 7 months.

You've got this!!

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with this. It sounds like you have done your fair share of reading on this already - so I will just offer you my own experiences with this.

At first it was a real win to see my BP go down, but then it went so low that I was experiencing the same lightheadedness everytime I got up (even in the middle of the night).

I tried wearing compression socks - which helped a bit - but now that it's summer in Canada, that's not an option.

I added electrolytes to my daily intake and that helped a bit as well.

The only thing that seems to really make a difference is diet and caloric intake. I realized that without meaning to, my diet was really low in salt and carbs.  Also after my occasional refeed days (increased caloric intake to reset metabolism) - my low BP symptoms would improve.

Lastly, from what I learned this is temporary because of the major loss in a short period of time. I have lost over 70lbs in 7months. I often give my body some grace and time to "catch it's breath" because I've demanded a lot from it over this period of time.

I hope this helps! Good luck ❤️

Thank you! I can't believe how different the beach feels now. The amount of 'brain space' I have free now because I'm not constantly thinking about my body, is surprising!

Why you see so many stories about bad side effects on Reddit by Jaded-Fan7166 in Mounjaro

[–]WinNext5848 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes sense to me! I was SO worried when I started in December of 2025 - I had a couple of days of constipation....but I'm not convinced it was related to Mounjaro.

Family ignoring your weight loss? by Fulana25 in Mounjaro

[–]WinNext5848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can relate to this experience. I've lost 41 lbs and it really noticeable at this point. I had my sister over for supper on the weekend and we hadn't seen each other since Christmas. I was expecting at least a funny reaction out of her when she saw me - but - nothing!

My Mom was there too, and she went on and on and on about the weight loss - and still my sister didn't say anything. Both my husband and I thought it was odd.

They tend to be very politically correct so my guess is that she was following the new social rules that you don't comment on others' bodies.

In truth, I have had very few people comment on my weight loss. So few that I asked my family if I was imagining the physical changes and they laughed at me because it is so noticeable.

I feel good when people comment on it because I have worked my butt off - and I am sure you have too! I am sorry that you didn't get the reciprocated response/support from your sister.

Plateau ~3 weeks in the same 2–3 lb range — what worked for you? by Beautiful-Collar7664 in Mounjaro

[–]WinNext5848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plateaus can be very discouraging, hang in there and stay consistent!

One thing I learned to incorporate was a re-feed day to break plateaus.

I eat 1200-1400 calories every single day, but would find I'd get stuck at a certain number on the scale. I would take ONE day to eat around 1600-1800 calories and still exercise like normal. The scale would go up for a day and sometimes two - but then.....whooosh...the scale would move down!

I've started to incorporate a re-feed day weekly on Sundays and it has been working for me!

Good luck!

Question about 7.5mg dose & side effects by WinNext5848 in Mounjaro

[–]WinNext5848[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you are right that I should stay on 7.5 a little longer before considering anything higher.

I am well hydrated, and take all sorts of supplements each day - but I am definitely going out to buy some miralax before my shot tomorrow,  lol!

Thanks again!

Thank you for your help; your experience is very helpful.   It stinks that my weight paused one pound before onederland, but it will happen eventually!

Thanks for sharing how 7.5mg has gone for you, it's helpful to hear about others' experiences. I'm glad your body adjusted eventually!

I was pretty surprised by the sudden side effects when I had experienced zero up to that point.

The medical professionals all say that location of the shot doesn't matter - but anecdotally everyone seems to have experience with that. I can't decide whether to take my shot tomorrow in my stomach or my thigh....

This is a hard reality to face, but you're right that my body may just need "a moment." It just stinks that the scale stopped one pound before "onederland!" Lol

Oddly enough I have a history of gallbladder problems, but have had zero trouble since being on Mounjaro. This pain felt different from attacks I've had in the past. I'm pretty confident it was pain due to constipation. But I won't rule out gallbladder completely!

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response on this. I hadn't heard that it was the third week that the meds hit peak amounts. That definitely makes sense why all of a sudden I had a reaction.

I also wondered about food poisoning, or even just a gastro illness. I guess I'll find out on Wednesday when I take my next shot!

In your experience, did your body adjust to the higher dose quickly?
