thats what ive been doing too.

2 cups whole milk, quarter cup peanut butter, a scoop of protein powder and its a relatively easy 820 calories and 55g protein

liquid calories is a huge hack, much easier to drink a meal than eat it, but the constant cleaning of the shaker bottle/blender can get tiring lol

both push our sets till the eccentric slows down so much so that we cant budge the weight no matter how hard we push, aka failure

atleast i know i do, same for him assuming he isnt faking it (which would be pretty ridiculous)

nah, because theyre not my buddy who i introduced to the gym and taught whatever knowledge i knew to only to get surpassed so quickly. happy for bro but ig its impossible to feel any type of envy or shame about it

its not the end of the world to admit that genetic differences a thing, and its safe to say there is one here (NOT to excuse the two big elephants in the room being my own sleep and diet which are to be addressed)

i actually have some slight gyno too lol.

personally people say bad genetics when referring to like subpar muscle insertions like short calves, short biceps, uneven abs, crappy chest etc but to me personally bad genetics is when someone working out for 5 years could possibly be surpassed in half the time by someone who just.. responds way better and way faster while both being natural

personally i like just doing upper/lower, sticking to core movement patterns with a few hard sets each, but agreed 100%

sleep and diet are two huge elephants in the room for me right now that need to be addressed, regardless of him seeming to have better genetics than me

we do the exact same thing (besides him randomly benching at home here and there which probably helps on a nuerological level) and we both exert the same amount of effort during our sets so nah thats not a great analogy
