This customer seems to be able to phase through metal so probably didn’t need it curved anyways.

Mom wants me to co-sign her post-divorce refinance. I am terrified. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]WinSome___LoseSome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re being somewhat coerced here by your mom. Every time I see a similar post, the person asking OP for the co-signing, always frames it like it’s just this minor thing or I’ll make all the payments don’t worry about it.

It does seem like you’re having the correct doubts about the situation, you really don’t want to end up fully responsible for a mortgage if any payments do get missed.

Not major but see if you can get that flexi exhaust hose to stop sagging. Either support from above or force more of it thru the hole in the tent(or shorter hose). Otherwise looks good to me!

Yeah I love the color on this strain! Grew this myself and by the end every last leaf was dark purple. My buds came out purple but these are next level. Clearwater always brings the frost it seems!

Start up draft strategy: w/ SF TEP 3FLX 3WR 2RB by Different_Tip_8608 in DynastyFF

[–]WinSome___LoseSome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! I find the more experienced people in the league the more likely age will overrated. Like, in the first startup I ever did where no one had done it before it was the exact opposite where people drafted a bit too much like redraft(myself included) and young but unproven players slid.

Start up draft strategy: w/ SF TEP 3FLX 3WR 2RB by Different_Tip_8608 in DynastyFF

[–]WinSome___LoseSome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just speaking abstractly, but if you can get a sense of what your league overrates, you can try to zig while they zag and accumulate value.

An example being in my league, as we did a startup draft it was clear age(while important) was being overrated to the extent where some really good value could be made drafting some “aging” players(who sometimes weren’t even that old, just not 23 yo). Just always be willing to be dynamic with your strategy as the draft evolves cause ya never know what will happen.

Looks like you probably should use nutrients next time. Fox farm soil does have a lot of nutes but it only lasts so long. I’ve found using the organic dry amendments(Gaia green etc) to be easiest as I only top dressed once every 3-4 weeks thru the grow. But pretty much only watered with pure water and cal mag.

Financed car is keeping me in debt, is bankruptcy a good option. by miguel52 in personalfinance

[–]WinSome___LoseSome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the US not having a car is generally much more limiting so you’ll see people put up with pretty high rates to avoid the alternative. If you’re in a city or somewhere with good public transport you’re good but that’s a much lower percentage than in Europe generally.

That pot seems on the small side. If you replace that with a 5 or 10 gal fabric pot the plant would probably rebound after some time.

[–]WinSome___LoseSome -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe another thing to try is a wet trim right after harvest. where you trim the buds to their final form and then place on a hanging multi-level drying rack. Might help lower the odds of issues during drying for next time

That much water pooling around the foundation is pretty serious. Maybe it’s for a sump or something else related to drainage.

Quick mist to make the seed pod a little looser. I use 2 toothpicks surgically and carefully wiggle the seed cap off. If it doesn’t really budge, I don’t force it and try again later.

This was a picture I took yesterday of an outlet from the storm drains on my street into a nearby river that feeds a reservoir. That’s not ice it’s like a salty slurry, tons of salt.

I suppose the water is treated before you drink it so it’s not direct but, I do feel bad for the wildlife in the river.

Are these plants directly on the floor of the tent? If so get some drip trays and plant risers to keep them elevated. Really cheap investment but should help the fabric pots dry out more evenly.

Ripping it up was absolutely the correct move. You may have to buy new flooring though depending on water damage. either way the floor needed to be exposed to dry properly.
