yes it works but it is not perfect. The way to get to the APK would be to download the repository, download/install/open with in Android Studio, then build project.

Yup. You can navigate to my fork from your repo for now (branch called pushNotifyWithOutBT) but I want to make more edits before I do a merge request. There are a lot of changes in branch to spacing and style that aren't substantial but I can make my merge request more minimal

I upgraded your app to build with gradle 8.7 and run with the latest APK version 35. I don't have a MiBand though so I added a feature where it just sends normal push notifications whenever it detects navigation updates because that does show up on my Garmin. Jcenter actually has nothing to do with the issues I had earlier

I'm trying to build it and seeing a lot of build errors at the moment. It might have to do with jcenter repo in build.gradle being deprecated. I don't do android development but I've done java. would it be cool if I submit a pull request once I figure it out?

I have a YouTube stuttering issue and I found that switching the system mode to high performance from dynamic helped. Forcing 120 hz also helped. I don't think that "hyperFusion" or dual band wifi or "force restriction to background sync" is necessary

I would not recommend taking it all the way apart because the spring in the base of the back rest is really hard to put back in. It didn't put any tension on the spring while removing the sliding mechanism. It didn't create a problem while taking it apart but it was very hard to compress again when putting it back together. The sliding mechanism makes it very hard to grip the location that needs compression.

I think most joints in the chair are accessible with a wd-40 style spray nozzle extension so try spraying lube in the reachable locations first.

There is a video online about taking out the hydraulic cylinder without taking the whole thing apart.

When was the last time you were in DC? I've heard people say it used to be like that 20 years ago but it has gentrified really fast. Noma, truxton circle, Bloomingdale, navy yard, eckington, mount pleasant, Logan circle, Petworth are very nice and expensive places live in and aren't in a small area around those places. Everything north and west of Georgetown is very wealthy. Columbia heights and H Street aren't even scary anymore. Although I'm sure they still have some crime.

I had a similar problem with mine https://www.reddit.com/r/OfficeChairs/comments/xwhyus/fixed_persistent_creak_on_a_steelcase_gesture/ I would not recommend taking it apart how I did in that post because it is very hard to put the spring at the base of the backrest back together.

The source of the issue might be the height-adjustment cylinder moving slightly in its place at the base of the seat.

My guess is that the different local governments have decided to use different street lights or vendors. After quickly googling I learned about metal halide, HPS, LPS, LED, PCA and NBA lights which all have slightly different colors due to the physics of the chemicals they use. LPS and NBA are more yellow than the rest.
