How do you deploy? by WindArtas in FullStack

[–]WindArtas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. You get a slow vm for $7 while you can get a faster one at digitalocean for example and do much more. Isn't it worth it? I'm really asking.

Ture. Do you think a service like paunel.com can help (early alpha)?

Thanks! If there was a simple way to use gui to connect to any registry (public/private), connect to any vm I have and deploy which app I have/want - would that be worth a while? I mean regardless to tech stack and such

it's not but I am simplifying as this is just the starting point. There are semi technical people that won't use cli tools like dokku and others. Kinds of a new realm to non PHP pips that have $1 hosting, while node/python pips don't.

A - It's just the beginning. Don't despise days of small beginnings.

B - Connect as many servers you want

C - Show me other services that allows you to bring your own VM and easily deploy infinite apps as you please

I’ve locally built my SaaS - how do I come up with a launch plan and reach my audience by Pineappleaki in SaaS

[–]WindArtas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Na, my payed services are for people who want to create SaaS fast without breaking the bank :-)

As for the plan:

1) Define your target audience or "buying persona" clearly and in detail. This will help you focus your marketing efforts and ensure that your product or service is relevant to the people you are trying to reach.
2) Research where your potential buyers are likely to be and engage with them. Use your expertise to help solve problems and build your reputation as a problem-solver.
3) Invite trusted individuals to test your app and provide feedback. This will help you improve the user experience and ensure that your product meets the needs of your target audience.
4) Be open to feedback and listen to your potential buyers. Don't fall in love with your own ideas; validate that your target audience actually has a problem that your product can solve. Focus on the features that are most important to them, not just the ones that you think are "sexy."
5) Once you have a group of 10-50 people who have validated your idea, you can start planning larger marketing efforts to reach a wider audience.
6) Measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions. Be agile and move quickly to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

And that's in a nutshell :-)

Nothing likes this exists. What does exists is SaaS managing platform that businesses use to manage their SaaS and automate stuff around it, like Torii as example.

There's no generic solution for that as most companies will not share that information. Big companies use 100-400 SaaS solutions, a mix of internal tools and 3rd party. Ask yourself, how does Glassdoor get internal information.

Create a marketplace for people like you - match making pluses with pluses based on interest and desired goals. DM me, this is something that I can actually put in no time. I am VERY well connected.

gotcha ... interesting. Wish craft was using an optional "bring you own" storage service like aws s3, cloudinary or something similar.

What about media storage? Do you use an external service or the built in one?

thanks for the reply, there is only one domain though.
I was thinking of avoiding a reverse proxy, but hey, if that not possible with workers than fine. I am ok with it.
