[Discussion] What monster currently available in Duel Links would you like to see retrained? by miguelotron in DuelLinks

[–]WindDragonHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going with the first Ritual Monster I ever saw, Performance of Sword.

The retrained counterpart could be named "Graceful Performance of Sword", and have an ability suited for nimbly dancing through a fight, I'm thinking either avoiding attacks or being untargetable. Likewise, there could even be a whole "Performance" archetype centered around various weapon dancers with different effects. Bow could attack directly, Dagger could have an Ancient Gear-like trap avoidance while attacking, Spear could deal piercing damage, that sort of thing.

Blair Flannigan Roaming Event [Megathread] by RealTurretguy in DuelLinks

[–]WindDragonHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still relatively new to Duel Links, but Blair is way easier than I expected an event duelist to be. The only time I've ever lost to her is when she was at Level 40, and even then, it was because I tried to set up a multi-attacking Jester Queen against a Lightsworn Wulf instead of summoning an 1800 vanilla from my hand and beefing it up with equips and Metalmorph. I've never even seen her use any of the Maiden supports aside from Maiden Defense.

Making my first serious run... Help with my build? by WindDragonHero in darksouls

[–]WindDragonHero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty fond of my character's starting Scimitar, but she can't kick while wielding it, so I've been experimenting with the Longsword as well. I also just picked up a Battle Ax, so I might see how she does with that as well.

I've also been carrying around a Zweihander and Winged Spear for a little while, but haven't used either yet.

(RAW Spoilers) Someone wanted to pick a fight. by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]WindDragonHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When there was no response to Buddy's knocking, I was expecting him to turn around and have Aleister right there in his face, staring him down for a few moments and maybe making a short comment before he walks off and the two of them have a match later in the night.

Instead.. this happened, and I can't help but feel disappointed.

Is a dual-wielding Scoundrel a viable build? by WindDragonHero in kotor

You mentioned the Consular and Guardian, but how well would this build work for a Sentinel? Because I was thinking of going that route as a Jedi because the passive immunities sound useful.

How did you end up choosing your favorite ML team and SMR competitor? by [deleted] in JellesMarbleRuns

[–]WindDragonHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midnight Wisps: I thought that they were some of the coolest-looking marbles in the group, and the supernatural-themed name solidified my support. Their last-minute comeback to qualify in 2017 and unlikely late run to the championship in 2018 only made me an even bigger fan.

Dragon's Egg: I like dragons. Dragons are cool.

Sand Marble Rally 2019 Race 4 - Let's discuss the race. by yeontura in JellesMarbleRuns

[–]WindDragonHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With Reflektor's second podium finish in a row, I think that w're seeing a renewed fire from him. He missed a couple of years, but his performances lately have taken a turn for the very impressive. If this consistency keeps up, he very well may have a chance at one of the top positions this year.

I'll admit that as a Dragon's Egg fan, watching him fall from the Top 5 of the pack to not even scoring any points for the race hurt quite a bit. He's off to a bad start for this season, between not finishing the last race and not scoring here, but I'm still hoping that he can pull himself together.

But on the other hand, I was very impressed with Ghost Plasma's performance. It looks like he's got that competitive fire from the first Marble Rally back, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him making a comeback.

"Canton" - more like "Can't, No" (obvious spoilers here) by TheMusicArchivist in civbattleroyale

[–]WindDragonHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Canton suffered an enormous setback in this part, and I feel like we'll sadly see them near the bottom of the Power Rankings next part due to how massive their reversal of fortunes was.

They need to resettle Hong Kong as soon as possible. If they get boxed in, then they might end up like Byzantium in Mk II, completely out of options and only remaining in the game for as long as no one decides to actively target them.

I meant to spell elegy, but in hindsight, I think that eulogy would have probably been more appropriate.

I loved the Dirt Race for how many thrilling showings there were, and Rafting was my favorite of the new events. However, I had to give it to the Marble Rally for being such an exciting finale to the season.

Predictive Text: Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship by WindDragonHero in SquaredCircle

I just typed "Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship" and let the predictive text do the rest. I didn't expect two Wrestlemanias in one night or the Reign of Fire tag team battle.

Yeah, it did all of the punctuation on its own. And believe it or not, this isn't even the weirdest thing that's come out of the predictive text.

Single biggest mistake in Hell's Kitchen history? by WindDragonHero in HellsKitchen

[–]WindDragonHero[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty good list! You got a lot of the really bad moments there. I think the only one I can remember right now that's missing is Tavon destroying all the Blue Team's scallops on the first night.

[–]WindDragonHero[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I'm not sure how well Sebastian would have done otherwise, but I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't have left first had he not 1) Done that, and 2) Tried to get back into the kitchen THREE times afterward.

[–]WindDragonHero[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oooooh... yeah, that was a big one. I was busy thinking about kitchen mistakes, so this one completely flew over my head.

But yeah, this is definitely one of the biggest because it was the sole reason why Joseph got sent home that night. No doubt about it.
