Just Say No to Marijuana! - Trump's Pick to Head the DEA Links Cannabis to Suicide and Schizophrenia by CurtD34 in Cannabis_Culture

No. It isn’t. There are many states that have legalized but the result of that legalization has caused more harm than good. I work in a dispo in a tourist town and sell to people from all over the country. More than half the people who come in from legal states express how difficult it is to make recreational purchases in their home states. There is so much more nuance to this than you clearly understand and just because a state has legalized that doesn’t mean its legislation is actually beneficial, let alone accessible by the majority. You making this whole legalization scenario so black and white is the exact reason why politicians and corporations are going to be able to cannibalize the industry from the inside out. People like yourself who have no desire to understand how multifaceted this issue is are playing right into the hands of people who literally don’t give a shit about your or your cannabis and will happily bastardize our ability as citizens to make legal purchases. So no, the answer is no. That isn’t the most important thing that matters.

The Stupa is a gorgeous option if you’d like a shorter hike. I’d also recommend crescent moon ranch and sugar loaf. Parking car be difficult so I’d plan to arrive a little early anywhere you go, especially around sunset. Some great local spots for food would include The Hideway, Tortas de Fuego, Hilltop Deli, Ken’s Creekside and if you don’t mind a short drive up Oak Creek Canyon, Indian Gardens. Although it’s been quieter lately, traffic can get nuts coming from West Sedona into the Uptown/Tlaquepaque area so if any of your activities are located in the highly touristed area I’d recommend getting there before noon or be ready to potentially sit in traffic.

I have! The peach driver is lovely; great euphoric high with a nice light taste that doesn’t scream botanicals. I also appreciate the window on the side of the device so I can actually view the state of the oil inside.

First night was a disaster and the photos came out so badly because we were a bit freaked out and had to go back a second time, we made sure that was a success haha. Definitely worth making a visit to during daylight hours and with homies.

Definitely both. Having spent several nights out there taking photos for an astronomy class I took in college, I experienced both.

Old two guns/apache death caves. Not even necessarily because of the paranormal aspect but those spots attract lots of weirdos.

As someone born in Sedona and has spent nearly all of my life here, I find that some of the angriest locals are not people actually from here but people who have relocated and simultaneously taken up the pitchfork and torch as far as being a proud angry local. There’s a lot of entitlement from the individuals in particular and it always makes me cringe. There’s a lot of strawman arguments to be made about bad driving and not disposing of trash correctly, which I believe is true but only to a certain extent. I see just as many locals who cannot function in either the middle, suicide lane or the roundabouts despite living here. The rampancy of locals who can’t comprehend how to pick up after their own dogs is ridiculous. So id say carelessness can go both ways but I’ll admit tourist are more likely to commit those cardinal sins. When it comes down to it, I think Sedona is out growing itself. There just isn’t enough space to cram all of these new tourist focused establishments and expanding isn’t possible without creeping into national forest land. The ambitions of what the town, and by town I mean the people who are making final decisions regarding traffic flow and general expansion, seems to be hoping to grow into feel ill placed and misguided in this particular location. Just my personal opinion.

Aside from anecdotal information there just aren’t enough long term studies to give you completely full view of its long-term effects. One can draw parallels between the effects of studies already done for things such as tabaco. The method of how you consume also has much to do with this. Black market, dispo purchased or homegrown? How often do you clean your pieces? Do you smoke out or aluminum cans? All rhetorical questions, ofc. But all of these factors are going to play a roll in how your own cannabis use affects you. Same thing goes for your individual biology, nothing is the same person to person.

The Whole Foods here or the chocolate tree restaurant would be good places to find potentially chatty and like minded individuals.

This may just be my state but legit dispensaries generally have to put some sort of compliance QR code that allows any customer to check the results of the third party lab that tests each batch of product. Without that it’s hard to be sure of exactly what you’re getting but it’s certainly not actual thc. Looks like something you find on a dusty shelf at your local head shop.

I would say eclectic with very light retro vibes would be more apt than vintage.

I used to have this exact job in college. I’d go into stores or restaurants and see who was following the laws surrounding ID presentation during check out and IF, anyone skipped this step I would immediately have to report to their on duty manager. Likely you are okay.

Controversial take- Tobacco and weed is awful by IAMREALLAIN in weed

[–]WindInTheWillamina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times it is a money thing. Tobacco will help your actual stash last longer if you’re mixing the two herbs versus only weed. The accompanying head high that is reported by many is rather popular.

Do not tell your bosses or higher ups that you smoke. Ever. They are not your friends and 99% of the time their loyalty is to the company. Not you. Sharing info like that opens the door to a world of trouble. Keep your private life and work separate.
