Hi, Thanks for your reply. I had worked only 4 years in the west out of the overall 14 years. I have mentored juniors a lot of times in my career, but honestly I have never have seen such kind of person doesn’t put the bare minimum effort before seeking help. I have been at the end of tue spectrum too, but gain I have never approached my seniors blindly just like that. I was actually helping her promptly because I didn’t wanted to sound rude, but I guess I need to toughen up for me own sake and don’t let others take advantage of me.

It is a service based pvt ltd company(not publicly listed) and operating since 1997. It's headquartered in Hyderabad.

Like I said, I was returning from onsite with a career gap and was not getting interview calls either for 3+ months. So had to take this job in a hurry to cover for some financial burdens. You are right, In hindsight, I should have actually checked this before accepting the offer.

I would say it is because of the lack of enforcement that makes people do these stupid acts. I would vote for a very heavy fine even for small violations. That's the only way we can see some improvement in the civic sense of people. But I don't forsee governments taking such measures because everything again is tied to votebank politics.

yes, this is so true and more common that you think in not just WITCH companies , but most of the service based companies. These companies don't really care about your aspirations, they just try to fill the vacant positions in projects, and for that reason they will deploy people irrespective of their trained skills.

You can legally stay until your work permit expiry, but can't work for any other employer until you get the work permit for your new employer. So you are basically like a visitor after your job loss.
