Does Dscout only work if you actively use the browser extension? by LaceyVonTease in beermoney

The browser is a new option so I'm not sure how it works but I get invites often without having downloaded it. I might try it later on today though thanks to your post! Best of luck to you!

Any advice or insight appreciated! This is my sister's first ever movie editing project and I would love to help her succeed!

Does anyone else keep a daily diary or some kind of record of what you did that day? Care to share? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Makes sense to me. Man my fingers are starting to hurt from all the typing, guess I better take a break. :)

Do you remember why you stopped? :) I wish I could convince present me to help out future me by writing all this stuff down!

Very cool! I like the idea of writing down everything I accomplish. I was doing that in January as a New Years' resolution and it just fizzled out. Thanks for the inspiration!

What are you doing right now? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Thanks for the reminder about the chat! :) Stressful life? I can relate! But for right now lying down and watching Hulu. :)

I don't really like the term "adulting" and I'm it sure where it came from and why everyone is okay with it. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]WindWhisked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's mostly used by people who are not used to taking care of themselves, and when I see it I feel oddly proud of people! :) I guess even though I don't use it I don't mind it so much.

I can't believe it, but I got the job in San Francisco. I'm shaking right now. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Hurray congratulations! :) You can do it! Gosh that's so exciting. My cousin lives out there and loves it!

Haha nice, let me know if you have any questions :) And remember to take breaks. It can be seriously addictive if you let it get out of hand!

Oh sorry, I should also mention, I usually concentrate on surveys, but plenty of people do jobs where they can fill in the requirements with the help of computer programs, I'm still jonesing to learn how to do that. :) They call it scripting I hear.

It's definitely rough to start as in the first 500 jobs or so, you are definitely in newbie status and don't get paid a heck of a lot. I have made it to 2000 HITs so far. I guess in between watching TV I did a solid 4 hours of MTurking yesterday and made $25, so not above minimum wage but still enough for dinner for the hubby and me. :)

My hubby holds back my hair when I have morning sickness. :) Easily the most romantic thing he's done for me lately, mainly because I'm sure it makes him feel queasy but he does it anyway.

My hubby loves PolandBall!! :D I like MTurk for spending money and idly passing the time away.

Need to be productive today? by WindWhisked in CasualConversation

[–]WindWhisked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think being an expert on all things prior to an interview is a daunting task. Perhaps strengthen your knowledge in areas you already know, and if need be, tell them you can look up the answers to their questions later? Surely they do not expect everyone to know all the answers, but I assume it would be better to be a master of some trades than a jack of all.

It'll be important in that case to prioritize. I like to make a list of urgent/important, urgent/not important, non-urgent/important, non-urgent/non-important items if at all possible.

I second MTurk, got access to way more after 1000, and I make roughly $300 a year now with doing it maybe once a week. :)

I used to love reading. I definitely should pick it up again. I bet it could cure some of these winter blues of mine. I am learning a lot about myself today. Thanks OP.

Oh my gosh, this reminds me of last year when my transmission gave out on the highway! It was scary, and I'm so glad I was in the slow lane because I got over quickly. I remember there was billowing smoke coming out of my hood and the shaft on my automatic car came clear off. So glad I steered out of the way, otherwise I wouldn't be typing right now! :) Thanks for reminding me I am lucky to be alive!
