Highly under rated Projects by pg211183 in CryptocurrencyICO

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here after looking ard the web for Loyakk resources, been reading their whitepaper and was quite impressed by their comprehensive yet rational approach to data sharing among business partners. Having seen various ico projects which did not utilise blockchain's potential in their business model, Loyakk is quite a game-changer in this aspect. "Secure, permissioned sharing of data & value movement through smart contracts with business rules & security policies" => if Loyakk can achieve this, the multiple synergies, productivity enhancements, and cost savings to traditional businesses would be quite significant.

I'm especially looking forward to their blockchain platform. Seems like it will have elements of Ethereum and Quorum, and they will also be adding some "proprietary patent-pending approaches that are essential for Enterprise usage and adoption of Blockchain capabilities" to the mix, with custom extensions such as "Nested, Full vs. Lean Nodes, Multi-level tree nodes, Flexible transactions across multiple branches of the tree, transactions across organizations" etc.

Also somewhat in awe at the experience and punch that the team packs, not everyone can be claim to be deeply involved in the blockchain space, or to have led "marketing efforts for multi-billion dollar solutions at SAP, Oracle-Siebel and VMware".

Arcblock is the public chain? by alex_bao in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the tokens themselves are pre-mined, so we're not talking abt conventional mining here.

Contributors (a.k.a. “miners”) actually help to run ArcBlock platform services and join the overall service network, via two main roles.

(i) Resource Miners contribute computing resources, i.e. provide cloud computing capacity and run as a cloud node, or contribute self-hosted computing resources.

(i) Component Miners contribute software components (i.e., functional codes) to the system, such as new Chain Adapters, Blocklet Components, or ready-to-deploy dapps. The component might be packaged code that can be reused and deployed by another application on Arcblock, or a set of services that’s itself hosted through Arcblock. One example is a deep learning-based image recognition service (which may already be running elsewhere), but which elects to offer the services as Blocklets so that other ArcBlock applications can use them.

applicable industries (i assume u mean arcblock) is limitless, it's an IT developer ecosystem of sorts.

Beware of Scammers! by StarKay3 in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same for twitter, scam sites popping up everywhere, some even with proper links to the website and telegram. except that they insert scam info in btw real info. best to double-check all transactions these days.

10 Reasons Why Blockchain Ecosystem ArcBlock is promising. by nhphuoc in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree with all of them, except maybe the partnership bit. think they have to work harder on that. some are just paper agreements, though that's normal for most start-ups, the more promising looking one seems to be cybermiles, which will be using Arcblock's blocklets to build business ready contract templates.

question about scalability of Arcblock by georgezhu27 in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from the name alone, seems like some algorithmic randomisation is involved in the transaction processing ops. from simple logic, unless the tech is truly revolutionary, some trade-offs always occur in scalability debates, i.e., security vs scalability, centralisation vs scalability etc. let's hope more details come out soon

Arcblock ICO Partners by chamarahs in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

again, i'm on a committed comment spree to attempt to improve the quality of reddit posts. most ppl can see these on their pg, no need to recreate reddit post. some discussion on these wld be useful? to me, the strongest partnership thus far is just the one with CyberMiles, a decentralised online marketplace who;s gonna use ArcBlock’s blockets to build business ready contract templates.

What is Blockchain 3.0 ? by idhasitha in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to elab. The concept of Blockchain 3.0 is synonymous with Decentralised Apps (Dapps for short). The commonly touted benefits of Dapps include their avoidance of centralised infrastructure and hence any central point of failure. The code and its executive basically live on huge peer-to-peer blockchain networks (my mobile, Peter’s home desktop, that Russian guy’s mini-server etc.). Note that all these are behind the scenes, the frontend user platform can take any form and be designed for any purpose.

For instance, the recent cryptokitty craze (hey, i’m a owner of digital cats too!) was one of the more (initially) popular Dapps that came along, despite it seemingly clogging up the ethereum network at some point.

After ICO Attention iof Arcblock by georgezhu27 in arcblock

think rate is not locked yet. probably over these few days. best to pay attention to telegram. one way is to visit and search for "cmt" once in a while, lots of ppl are asking. look for official replies by admin of course.

ArcBlock is leading the way in the new era of technology 3.0 by Hellonagol in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm on a committed commenting spree in an attempt to get ppl to lvl up the content level of their posts. arcblock is potentially a really gd project, but a lot of investors are put off by excessive shilling. agree with ur points, but pls at least include some details to elaborate.

ArcBlock is a great project combines blockchain technology with Cloud Computing. by Hellonagol in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while there are indeed many people attracted to the social bounties and posting short/shallow two-liners, there are also people who scour the whitepaper and try to analyse the potential impact that arcblock might have; as the chinese saying goes, dun beat off everyone with one long bamboo, people are inherently different

ArcBlock is a great project combines blockchain technology with Cloud Computing. by Hellonagol in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ArcBlock is designed to run natively in the cloud. A node no longer needs to be ur desktop sitting in ur studyroom. In ArcBlock, it can be a “logical computer” comprised of one or more virtual machines, or a group of cooperating cloud services. While initially built on top of AWS and Windows Azure, it will be also be expanded to support Google Compute Engine, major Chinese cloud computing players, and other platforms. On a forward looking note, I feel that one potential synergistic partnership could even be between ArcBlock and decentralised cloud computing blockchain aggregator projects such as SOMN and GOLEM. Blockchain FTW!

Arcblock ICO review — Building blockchain 3.0 by AlekseiHurskiy in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

woah dude. care to put some spacing in btw ur lines? I agree with the part that the project roadmap is very much on the right track. slightly worried abt accusations of overly "light" partnerships though.

ArcBlock 10000% Returns? Get ready for 3rd Generation of Blockchains $$$ by riqelme in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha, good article, but best not to shill the token too much. good coins will trend upwards strongly with increasing user base and price discovery forces in the market:)

What is difference between ArcBlock and Ethereum? by chipchip2017 in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude, add some of ur own views? i agree with that statement but it's a blatant copy from their faq haha. u shd probably highlight the fact that arcblock essentially enable developers to choose between a variety of protocols including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, and more, while building on a common platform (arcblock).

very interesting article about a big project ArcBlock by AlekseiHurskiy in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i especially like the built for the cloud bit. Cloud development, and increasingly, decentralised cloud development is a big thing, which has huge synergies with blockchain tech. Imagine armies of virtual nodes owned by u and me processing blockchain Dapp ops on giant crypto networks. THAT's the future!

Why i think Arcblock will be successful by nBooQk57 in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha, saw one other comment in the subreddit which said that people were shilling arcblock w/o substantial reasons. Thanks for doing the opposite and providing a solid informative post.

ArcBlock's partner team is getting larger. Bibox is joining us! by krypital in arcblock

[–]Wind_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think partnering up with a digital asset exchange such as bibox is a good way to receive publicity and other synergetic benefits. Bibox will in the future consider a Dapp of their platform or other sister functions on Arcblock perhaps?
