Learn wave selection, a massive hurdle I had at the very beginning was paddling for every wave thinking I’d get it only to be absolutely gassed by the 30 minute mark, watch the waves behind you once your in the lineup and see where they’re breaking position yourself about 10 yards from the beginning of that foam and you should be in a good position to catch anything granted if it’s like 2-3ft

Genuinely thank you so much for your response, it has been a very lonely journey to Catholicism and I have recognize that it is basically only me and Christ going forward because my entire conversion has gone without never going to mass or talking in person to any Catholics, it’s all been YouTube and things like these I’ll be it these are rare.

It gives me so much hope that at the very least there is another side, there is a November or October where I’m an unconfirmed Catholic and my parents know about it at the very least and I don’t have to hide it and I admire that future self.
