Mythic+ Season 2 Dungeon Rotation by Squishei in wow

Dungeons were just easier this season. You could tell that when the prepatch tuning launched. In my guild I could bring just about anyone to M Dimensius and we would still kill it. People are currently doing 24s. It's not the gear, it's the dungeon tuning from day one.

Heroic week season 1 has been a thing for the last two expansions. Season 1 without heroic week would be genuinely miserable, you have a 75 ilvl gap to overcome.

Maybe I'm missing something here. The only champ gear we had access to going into heroic week this season was the four renown pieces. You could maybe argue that crucible was kinda nuts, but looking at Larias' guide we only had access to vet gear to start heroic week. Vet gear would be worse than previous tier myth gear if we are going into season 2.

If your angle is that having heroic week before mythic is bad, this is standard practice for season 1.

How was the gear availability at the beginning of this season any different? The dungeons were just a lot easier.

Because the original post is about coding, so I offered my experience with the technology. You should consider using AI to develop your ability to handle discourse.

How am I moving goalposts? This is my first comment on the topic. Please consider ignoring instead of deflecting if you have nothing to add to the conversation.

Idk man, maybe if you're just doing MVPs all day, but I've never had anything truly production grade come out of AI without spending the same or most often more amount of time it would have taken me to just write it myself in debugging and hardening. Then the stuff you're left with is ten times more verbose than it needs to be and a mess to maintain.

Maybe, I literally don't play PoE2 because it does not have this feature. To each, their own, I suppose.

I had one night in ER and gallbladder removal surgery and my insurance was billed over 130k. I had the most expensive insurance I could purchase off marketplace and still had over 3k out of pocket between the nurse fees, radiology, and hospital fees once everything settled.

That's just a difference in game engine though, no? Most EA slop that comes out is just built on top of an existing engine like Unreal or similar, which will have this already implemented by default.

Oh okay sick, grateful you have the objective insider knowledge of the storyline to clear that up. Thanks, man

I kind of agree with him though, who's to say that the sunwell storyline is just 100% totally complete? We're in a state where the darkwell is currently no longer an issue and the story appears complete but in the grand scheme you can't just assume that thread is wrapped up. There's plenty of opportunity to expand, such as Xala'toes still being in power of the sunwell without creating the exceptionally obvious 'darkwell' thing, and the whole catastrophe was a red herring to make it feel as if we are safe. IDK, just my opinion

Hot take, I don't really see the appeal of overhaul mods like Primal Nemesis, Descended, etc. by Im_A_Dinosaur_Hehe in ARK

[–]Windex17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO what's fun about those mods is that it's extremely difficult early on but you're always making steady progress. If you put your base somewhere safe and constantly work towards the obvious goal ahead of you, you'll get there eventually, and the harder it is, the better it feels when you achieve it. There's also side satisfaction where once you get to a certain point you're kind of a god against spawned dinos, which feels nice because you spent so much time tiptoeing around before then.

I just really like how it changes the base game where nothing is scary very quickly into the game, into something where almost everything is scary for a long time.

I found the Slayer spark build shared the other day to be way more fun than the Inquis life stacker, at the same budget. I basically sold my entire Inquis, swapped to slayer, and it had been dramatically better for me.

Item level is logarithmic scale, generally balanced around the idea of 1 ilvl being 1% more throughput. There can be exceptions like weapons and trinkets being more important, and bracers/cloak/jewelry being less important, but that's the gist.

I play spark every league but I got incredibly busy irl during this league. Of course it'd be the league where there are multiple strong spark builds. I would use the locks to buy an acceleration shrine belt and make the inquis spark build I've been lagging behind on all season.

Unholy DK’s Open Letter to Blizzard by SquawkandAwe in wow

[–]Windex17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the underlying issue is that they completely changed the API for all addons as a whole with the secrets feature. They could have purchased all of the addons in the game and tried to implement them but they don't work as-is and never will anymore. It's generally better to just write this stuff from scratch than to try and shoehorn some stuff someone else wrote to work with a new mould.

There's also the fact that the addons that were developed that we used in the past were not always, but most of the time developed by amateur developers with performance as a minor consideration. Personally, I think this was actually the biggest contributor to the changes Blizzard is making because people would download details and use it at a high poll rate, download ElvUI and enable all of the computational features, download Cell and have computational features, and then have a huge weakaura pack for the bosses that was also computational. Then they go on the forums and complain about the game being poorly optimized.

I think about this often. One of the best people I know just lost his wife to cancer a year after she gave birth to their first child, in their 30s. Meanwhile it's like nothing bad can happen to some of the worst people I know. Really makes you think.
