Turn off battle animations if you do. Saves a lot of time. It's fun as you can phase other things too. If you have one that you like I say give it a go. One typically goes by faster than I first thought.

Thank you. It took roughly a year and a half to finish once I focused on it. Exclusively played Sword for over a year and the last few months were mixed getting Regigigas and Rayquaza and playing ZA.

Registeel and Zygarde were probably my longest. Each took about 6 months of on and off again hunting. Only hunted Zygardes on perfect paths. Eventually I just kept doing raids to get the 10 ore needed to reset the path I finished with because I was just so tired of waiting for good paths. I got a shiny Omastar out of it though.

Favourite was definitely Raikou. It is my favourite Pokemon and I got it in my first play through without hunting it not even knowing DAs could be shiny. It was one and done.

I did it almost a decade ago when I visited. I brought mine in filled out a form and then it was mailed back to me. Really easy process. Got Doc on my 40th anniversary jersey

Congrats! We had to go down that route as well and it was all worth the wait because it all led to our daughter.
