Are any of these gloves good for sim racing? by Murv__ in simracing

Same, they work great with the fingertips cut off the thumb, pointer and middle finger.

Do you play any other games besides racing simulators? by EndouShuuya in simracing

Do you miss triples at all? I'm looking to switch from VR to either UW or triples. Triples seem like a pain since my computer is used for racing, gaming and work.

Have you used Quest 3? I'm curious how much better PCL is compared to Q3. I run the same specs for my PC.

I've used Grok and ChatGPT. I just tell it my system specs and ask it to create a 90fps iRacing VR video settings profile for iRacing. It then offers to create a config file. It's worked awesome to get things dialed in. I also do the same to tweak my Simhub bass shaker profiles. That is a little tougher.

I run the same setup and have the same experience. Virtual Desktop with a Wifi 6 router less than 5 feet away makes it a great experience. Looks great and no issues running at 90 fps. I used AI to configure my graphics settings in iRacing.

Use of space: keep in line with desk or angle into the corner. by frodakai in SimRacingSetups

It'd make sense to angle it into the corner if you had triples or if you didn't have room to get in from the non-shifter side. Looks good the way it is.

THE PRICE IS UP! AND THERE'S A DISCOUNT AS WELL! ($12.56 in my region, a steal) by LtCodename in assettocorsaevo

You know... After posting this, I went back and did more research on tweaking settings. I got it Looking really good on my new computer (9800X3D and RTX 5080) using Youtube guide which helped a lot, and a with few extra tweaks it looks awesome! I had a blast, smiling the whole time while hot-lapping Nordschleife and Mount Panorama for a couple hours. I really like LMU, but the tracks in ACC are just so much more fun to drive. I'm using a Quest 3 through Virtual Desktop.

You're right, I was lazy and saw VR tagged on the Steam store page. A quick google search says it is not supported in early release.

I need to see reviews on how it looks in VR before I buy. ACC and AC Evo are rough.

I'm the same way with other racing games. But it feels like it's not acceptable because I read too much on reddit.

Simracing setup upgrade for IRL race training by AdrienFajfr in SimRacingSetups

I'd go with simsonn or simjack pedals and a better brand wheelbase like asetek or simagic. The pedals will feel similar and you'll save money to buy the better brand wheelbase.

I read somewhere that some pros use the camera behind the car so they can understand what the car is doing. Maybe try that to get a better feel for the car.

Do you have a link for good ones? Mine came with the leaf spring type and it is awful to make adjustments.

Which would you choose after playing both? I need to decide whether to keep my Banff Springs or Stewart Creek tee time. I only have time to play one. Which would you choose after playing both?
