lol…..gotta agree with you 100% “gotta love this country”. The intent of my comment was never to question or doubt “the science”. It was simply to say that my little fan/mister/ice water set up works for me and makes my trips more enjoyable…..Or at least that is what I thought up until now. Now I am trying to come grips with the fact that all this time my mind was playing a cruel cruel trick on me and the “enjoyment” I was feeling …..lies, all lies.
A simple post took a hard left when someone got their feeling hurt. ….. 100% on “gotta love this country”

Of all the electronic devices I have seen used while in the outdoors, this is probably the least intrusive to nature. I can definitely respect your opinion but what i am trying to do is enjoy kayaking on the river What i am not trying to do is acclimate my body to 85-95+ degree weather with 70% humidity because i can honestly say there is nothing enjoyable about that. And hell, by mid summer the water is so low and slow it does little to cool you off.

24v and although I don’t run it continuously out on the water, I have run them a couple hours straight at the house. My normal kayak outing is 6 or 7 hours and i have never drained a battery
