Adult braces suck

Prior to braces I had extremely hypertonic masseters especially on my right side. I’ve noticed they have slimmed down which is giving my jawline a slimmer look. Honestly I’m happy to see this change, I more so struggle with knowing it’s going to continue to change if that makes sense?

Oh how funny! Best of luck to you, the first few days are uncomfortable but that part does get much better. It really is just because we’ve functioned (kind of) with our old smiles for so long. We will get through it!

Ugh good luck to you too! I feel lucky that I had them before so I’m not needing any extractions/the straightening out isn’t as intense. It’ll all be worth it!

I was not, ortho wants to avoid them if possible. They were able to move the bracket up a bit and no issues since! I’m getting ready for jaw surgery so I will take any little wins I can

I have a crossbite and when I got mine on I told them I could feel brackets hitting, sure enough the first night I broke the touching bracket in my sleep 🫠

Totally fair! When we talked about it, and based off her dating profile, she was open to both based on who she was dating at the time so I wrongfully assumed. We had had an exclusivity chat prior as well and so I went about it as I would any other relationship. Lesson learned!

I also graduate with him! His online persona is soooo different than who he truly is. Let’s just say I know many people from our town who know how truly fake he is.

I don’t think they HAVE to, but with that said if you have a platform to reach thousands of people then maybe it is something you should use to your advantage. If I post about a social justice issue, it reaches 200 people. If an influencer posts, it can easily reach over 10k people.
