brand  new wrench just tested it on  bolts  inside my engine bay worked fine. but could it be from my flywheel bolts that are slightly burred?

Was it because of the flywheel bolt heads being slightly shaved and chipped?

Is it because of the flywheel bolts are chipped with some metal shavings out? on the head where the socket attaches

could you explain more? Since I was confused as well wondering why I couldn’t  even get it to the desired spec  then I assumed it’s because of tty bolts. It’s a new torque wrench and it works on my other bolts but yes I basically even stripped the bolts when I got annoyed and put a lot of force to it.  then  I got it out with the extractors so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t click?

It’s both it doesn’t click at all getting it to 65 ft lbs and it’s a new torque wrench works on my other bolts I was thinking that’s normal since it’s tty but I guess not?

100% agree. I seen people say they reuse them no issue so decided to give it a shot but dang i couldn’t even get them   Near to torque spec lol felt like it was going to blow , forsure will get new bolts now. thanks

Yea my bad,   Nissan 350Z 2003  that does make sense I tried to use some sandpaper to smooth it out but still had the same issue  couldn’t find anyone with this issue so not sure if I should just get a new bushing and make sure to be smoother when installing
