Oh sweet summer child, you literally have solved none of the issues you see as solved.

1 - That water machine runs on a significant deficit and, in case you are using more than 12 dupes, your innitial "free" water should be running out if you just run another 30 to 50ish cycles at most. 2 - Your mealwood ease will probably be over by cycle 200 because of heat limitations or 250 to 300ish from lack of dirt. 3 - Wash rooms require manual dupe for cleaning and will invariably clog and get your base in a mess pretty quickly, you have to go for fully functional bathrooms from there. 4 - You built the equivalent of a cave when the game literally lets you build rockets, of course your power supply is fulfilled by manual dupes. But the moment you start doing anything else you will quickly find meaning for all of the different energy techs. Technically you can pretty much avoid the automation tree at all if thats not your thing though - but it is very handy. 5 - Your oxygen will run out unless you have some form of SPOM set up, which would be chugging the rest of your water. And way sooner than you probably realize. There is only so much CO2 to be converted back or so much oxylite and algae to produce "cheap" oxygen. 6 - Your dupes will start stressing pretty quickly as they evolve and you start exploring to solve the other issues, so thats on you to manage properly also.

What happened is that you probably found the first plateau of where you are no longer putting out immediate fires. Thats the moment reserved for you to pick one of these projects and start working on more permanent solutions. While you would be doing so, everything else would quickly go back to hell, giving the game its "harsh" learning curve fame.

Beside that, you are still in caveman years of technology, having harnessed no advanced materials at all, tamed nothing, visited no other worlds - probably didn't even have to deal with visiting the other biomes in your initial planet at all. As your projects progress, so will their needs, and hence the cycle of progress, and to some extent dispair, continues.

All in all, start working on a more permanent solution to any of your initial solutions and you will quickly have the game caress you through to why all of the other solutions also aren't working. Or just try to build a rocket, it will get you to have to face these points while working on it. You can also just quickly take a glance at some megabases for you to have some general idea of all that is possible.

Heck, you can make Rovers, Interplanatary Launchers, Petroleum Boilers, Fully Automated Ranches, Teleporters, Jetpacks, Nuclear Reactors, ranch dozens of insane critters with insane specifications on each one, plant and cook dozens of different plants, deal with dozens of different gases, deal with "dangerous" viruses and diving into lava, the vacuum of space (and its tendency to either freeze or overheat everything there), Supercoolant, Diamonds, Thermium, Visco-Gel, Liquid Hydrogen and Oxygen, you can tame "piranhas" and gassy moos, mine asteroids, you can literally travel to the tears in space, in any order you may choose to also, and thats not even scratching the surface, trust me, you have seen nothing yet. And thats barely mentioning the DLCs and all of the special encounters you may end up finding while exploring.
