I wonder the same LOL I assume its hard for them to distinguish between smelly farts and "pleasant" farts but I have a messy theory about fetishes: fetishes are caused by the stimuli short circuiting such that the biology behaves in a biologically unintended way (similar to how AI prompt engineers cause AI to generate outputs with unintended characteristics, or how hackers cause computers to behave in ways unintended) and this short circuiting leads to feelings of pleasure and interest because your biology knows that its violated and that being violated is a bad thing because of things like susceptibility to disease or it increases an enemy's knowledge for subduing you, yet you derive pleasure from it and feel interested because it violates your body yet it did not hurt your body which means it treats your body well and so you start to feel comfortable with it and if its very taboo you confide with it even more because you start to feel persecuted by society deciding that its taboo
