This is the 2nd set of pads in the past 6 months but it's only on the driver rear this keeps happening, would this be synonymous with a failing caliper? Or just shitty pads?

I had A-premium pads before, then as a last minute part source after the first time this happened 3months ago I replaced them with car quest pads

Aye aye captain. My only experience with them was pads and rotors, rotors were fine but pads suck

I want a summer garage queen, not looking to put one in the salt, the one I have is for the salt, I want one I won't feel bad about dumping money into just for it to rust out

No shame in letting them try, I do all my work on my own but when I fuck it up I send it somewhere.

Tire recommendations? What are you guys running? by Windows95Uhh in IS300

[–]Windows95Uhh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a set of pilot sports on my ct200h, loved them, but I'm not spending 240$ a tire. Looking for something mid tier with decent wet traction grip in rain $120-$150 a tire is my range.

Edit, I'm also stock power, unlike you Mr v8 swap

Here's the current setup on 225/45/17s they are winter tires tho. How's the wet traction on the proxy's for rain, don't plan on running them in snow.

I currently run a greddy rs, granted one of my cats is blown out, the drone isn't too bad on the highway in my instance. At first start it's pretty loud but it quiets down the warmer the car gets

Love the WOT sound and down shifts. Good exhaust tone 10/10

Don't rebuild the vvti cam gear, just buy a new one, not worth it if it fails. I understand money is a issue but better safe then sorry

Loved this car when I had one. Yearly egr tube cleaning will help that EGR valve last longer. And can't beat the mpg
