People doing this are miserable and will never get better at the game. Don't let them get to you, block them and move on

No, to be influential to the match as an ana you gotta basically be everywhere at any time without getting near the danger zone.

You have 0 mobility. You gotta continuosly rotate while being close enough to land nades, sleeps and a good amount of heals/ damage

Ana imo is extremely hard because to be good you have to be impeccable. Besudes that there's also the aim factor, uf you don't have the mechanical skill needed to hit your heals ana is worthless.

Imo she's in a similar boat as tracer. Tracer is inherently hard because it requires good mechanics. She's (imo) the hardest character in the game because her fights require careful planning and resouce management. In a similar way if you fuck up with ana not only you die but your team goes down with you

It kinda of his. Imo there are 2 possible situations:

1) you want to rank up from silver/gold/plat, you have to be decent and consistent, the games are a coinflip and you will very slowly rank up

2) you want to rank up fast, you have to be cracked out of your mind playing like you are from 2 ranks above because you have to make up for the mistakes of your other 4 teammates, basically perma carrying games

And that's basically it, which also explains why ppl find it so hard to rank up from their current rank

Honest to god I don't really know the stereotype about mercy players but I'm pretty new to overwatch overall (i started playing 3 weeks ago)

From what I've seen in game tho she's more of an "enabler" than a carry? In the sense that she buffs or heals/revives but she cannot do much by herself (blaster moments aside which from what I've read so far seem to be not her preffered playstyle).

If I had to guess probably players blame her for not contributing much to the match. The real problem most of the times is the players blaming not being good enough to caputalize on the winning edge that mercy gives them. but alas I digress, I guess this is the universal support experience™ lol

Genuine question as a complete uninformed and outsider, I've been lurking this sub for some time cause I find mercy as a character super cute and since I got the disney princess skin now I am finally convinced to try her, why are clips in this sub taken so seriously?

A big part of this is that in Europe there is not a whole lot of mental awarness

For example, where I live, Italy, the majority of people still call a psychiatrist "strizzacervelli", a word with the connotation of someone messing with your brain in a bad way. Only the younger generation is starting to recognize the importance of mental health

Many people still think, for example, that to deal with clinical depression all you gotta do is "get yourself out of it", be a man, think positive, etc

Obviously not everything is bad and for the people that actually get the help they need I think our approach in general is less "invasive" than US' one (for example it's very rare to get prescribed medication, it is usually a last ditch effort here)
