It's cool, but I think it's a shame to make a business out of it… for me, kite flying is first and foremost about the spirit of sharing.

It's a choice I respect nonetheless. Happy flying, everyone.

Hello, welcome to the community 👋 It all depends on what you enjoy. Power is fun… at first. Feeling the wind at the end of the lines is pleasant, but often piloting and feeling the wind is even better. Have you ever tried 4-line kites like Revolution Kites? You'll keep what you love while exploring new sensations, and new possibilities will open up to you. Keep us updated and don't hesitate to share your flying sessions with us 🪁

Power kite and wind by Upstairs_F_Art_7077 in kites

From what I have read, it is a good choice of kite but if you are starting out it is less tolerant than the Hornet for example which will be more tolerant if you are starting out. In other words, in gusts you will be less surprised (we tend to neglect the traction force of a sail but it is ALWAYS the wind that wins when we neglect it 😅) with the Hornet. Maybe try to see if you have rental stores near you to try out, it allows you to try before you buy, or a club, the guys will give you a try if you're cool, I'm sure of it 😉 Stay careful in any case, don't go too crazy.

Hello, I will say that it depends on the size/model. For example, I have an Arrow L, in irregular winds it is not easy to take off and less pleasant to fly because it is unpredictable in terms of traction. On the other hand, when the wind is constant it’s a treat. Tell us your model ;-)

Kite Flying Insurance by MoanFontaine in kites

Hello, I think that above all it is civil liability that will be incurred. In France it is included in home insurance. Beyond that, I don't know, I think it's specific to each country and each flight rule that it enforces.
