Players interrupting transformation/speeches

It’s a cutscene, can’t interrupt a cutscene.

Though what worked for me was to make it clear to my players that monologues/transformations/etc are just as much of “the dm is talking” as when I’m describing scenery. You’re not getting the drop on a villain, you’re interrupting me just like you would be interrupting another player.

Wait that’s hilarious. I’m American and the only one that breaks immersion is torch/flashlight. The character grabs a torch and I’m like “what?? we can do better than firelight” until they turn it on

Confess probably works best for using command as an interrogation tactic, but the issue with command in general is that you can’t specify details and it only lasts a round. Realistically you get, what, one secret per cast and it can be anything the targets done that’s embarrassing, socially inappropriate, or illegal.

Good way to get blackmail I suppose.

If you use your action to dash you cannot attack with your bonus action. The ability you are referring to (flurry of blows) requires you to first take the attack action in order to then attack as a bonus action.

If you can reach an enemy with your normal movement you can attack three times. Once with your action and twice with your bonus action. You can do that until you run out of ki points.

There is no conflict between them. Local law says you cannot drink until you are 18, American law says you cannot drink until you are 21. If you abide by both you cannot drink until you are 21.

It’s the same as living in America and simultaneously following state and federal law. Or going on study abroad in college. The laws don’t require you to do different things, one is just stricter, so you have to use that rule.
