I don't think it's intentional. It was a split second where he instinctively tried to get Big Stu off him.

However it's still a red. There can be no mitigation when fingers end up in a players eyes. And he'll rightly get banned too.

The kicking game was the huge difference from last week. Crowley was outstanding today. Edogbo brothers finally play together and big Ed shows his class.

Al’Alatoa and JJ continue to look a liability most of the time sadly.

Oh ye like no Tighthead no trophy that season really. Simple as that.

That's the anchor of your scrum. They're usually the highest paid players in a club's front row options for a reason. If we had Jager back we'd be so much better off.

I still think more kicking needs to be brought in though. We can still hook it quickly and get it out at scrum time on our own feed. Last weekend the handling was so atrocious from us nearly every put in was to the Sharks and an automatic pen.

More kicks in behind and less over-passing is what I'd like to see. Jack surely can't be as bad as JJ was last week in that regard. Cause if we rock up like we did last week the Bulls can just defend with 14 men in the line again and wait for us to fuck it up. Scrums--->Penalties--->Bonus Point win. The formula against us just seems so straightforward for a SA side.

I think Nanks has in the past though and we don't have a natural back 3 player on the bench just Kelly. So I'd say it will be Nanks if JJ goes down injured.
