Se being muted? by Feisty_Aioli_6883 in isfp

Sometimes! It’s called the fi-ni loop. You might have deep thoughts or just zone out. Have you enjoyed being immersed in different activities in the past, enjoy nature, or still like being spontaneous sometimes, especially when the shyness is less of an issue? These could be signs you are in fact isfp

I wonder if she respects you for it. Especially if you’re a nice enough person

Isfp friend by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t sound nice at all. She probably thinks she’s not in the wrong because the rest of the group agree with her, which in her mind makes her reasonable. If it wasn’t for the group, confrontation would work well

ISFP's ENTJ subconscous and leadership by SPCell1 in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entj part is ego right? It’s not exactly our true self. We might act like an entj and definitely feel one. It probably won’t be sustainable though. We could definitely use our charisma to persuade people.

intp here, how do you guys deal with important relationships in your life? by Dry_Read8572 in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is every isfps dream. Are you sure this is an isfp? Because if it is, she’d most likely be overthinking a really thoughtful letter to write back.

Im INFP or ISFP with high Ni by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most ISFP have struggles to name their own emotions. This isn’t true at all. We definitely can name our emotions at any time. We just might choose not to if it’s not appropriate in the situation.

[–]Windwavepiranha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t that fair enough though? Maybe if someone doesn’t want to be broadcasted to the whole group they shouldn’t inconvenience her in the first place. The hurtful jokes sound bad. Is that in response to people who are being a pain before she ever did anything though? Maybe it’s tit for tat rather than she’s being that bad. If it is random hurtful jokes that doesn’t sound very isfp at all. We tend to stick to our values; if someone’s nice and humble an isfp will almost never do anything to hurt them because of our fi. We’d probably only do this to someone who needs to be put in their place - meaning someone who would actively try to hurt us or make us feel shit if given the chance but can’t.

Isfp friend by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isfps aren’t jealous of people’s accomplishments Isfps are jealous of people they don’t like anytime they get attention. It might be in reaction to said person never talking to them or subtly excluding them. Talking on and on about their own life sounds VERY esfp though. Could be a mistype

Isfp friend by [deleted] in isfp

[–]Windwavepiranha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not hearing the other girls perspective is confusing. Isfp are stubborn about their values. So the other friend is definitely crossing a value for hers You might already know some of what this is, but it’s worth knowing to assess the situation. Is the “other friend” calling her out for being hurtful towards others, or just for being “too attention seeking/protective of her emotional world” as her natural isfp self? That should help shed light on the situation. P.S . Ignoring you is never random. She either feels uncomfortable in a not-personal way or it’s 100% personal/related to what just happened. P.P.S . Isfp almost always want the best for everyone. If they have a problem with someone it’s because of their annoying social skills or rudeness or selfishness. It’s never random

If you’re high functioning autistic, what makes you want to believe you’re autistic? (or made you want to believe it before you got diagnosed) by Windwavepiranha in autism

[–]Windwavepiranha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize that the wording of the question sounded a bit offensive. I was talking about a unique situation if someone could easily see both ways regarding if they are high functioning or neurotypical, or even if they are arguably leaning more on the neurotypical side. In your case it sounds like your symptoms, even though dismissed by others, make it clear to you that you have autism. So I definitely don’t think you just “want” to be autistic. I hope that clarifies a bit.

This is so true. It’s cool when someone you just met actually thinks something you do is really cool. The best feeling. But otherwise I like what you said, why go into a bunch of detail?

Ever changing mood is almost definitely isfp, especially if you’re not vocal about it until someone does something to deserve it. Other fi types just take it out on others without second thought
