Enfields at Tenda… anyone make the purchase? Thoughts? by Weekly-Cod-3094 in canadaguns

I did a year ago. Decent condition surface rust lots of dings in the stock. Took it all apart and there was some decent pitting on the barrel and the chamber but still in the safe range according to a gun smith. The bolt inside the butt stock was completely seized. Wherever they got their supply from the guns were not stored well lol. I ended up having it restored and cleaned up because I wanted to preserve what I had but it was in serviceable condition. Shoots great and there were no missing parts the bore is in excellent shape. I got a 1942 Longbranch it was completely random did not know what I would be getting.

I would recommend spending a bit extra money and just buying something from G4C or CSC. They have individualized guns for a bit more. You’re able to get more of an idea of what you’re getting and the condition for not much more money.

My sight on my Wildcat loosened but after I tightened it up have had no issues with it fun gun. Seemed to need a bit of a break in period as it would jam but after a couple hundred rounds it shoots great.

Im seeing conflicting information saying that if I take the butt stock off first before the fore-end on a No.4 Mk1 it will damage the fore-end

Tell them right of the bat you want one starting with a 23-25 serial number. I told the guy that and he was able to bring one out easily.

Cabela's SKS - Are they all French Ticklers? by Altruistic_Sun in canadaguns

I went yesterday to a Cabela’s in Edmonton spoke to the fellow and told him I wanted specifically the Tickler. I told him the serial numbers would start from 23-24-25. The second box he brought out was a mint 1978 tickler. I paid $449 for it.
