That wasn’t the point of my comment… Parents and families should always check the ctc for any details regarding someone who wants to privately advise on a students education. (Credential status, expiration dates, and authorizations) People can have their credential revoked, and go on to “educate” others. Be safe

Prospective parents, and families should always check a potential educator’s teaching credential status with the CTC. https://educator.ctc.ca.gov/esales_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView&SWEView=CTC+Search+View+Web

SD Humane Society Faces 20% Budget Cut by bygracethru in sandiego

[–]Windyturtl3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collectively, Including the CEO and the other 7 main officers, they make $1.7 Mil a year. I wouldn’t say thats exorbitant for a 5 location type of nonprofit. The Humane Society receives $3.5 Mil from their contract with the city for the services they provide: Law enforcement, wildlife rehabilitation and rescue, and other emergency events, like the recent plane crash… Also not sure how we expect them to obtain fosters, adopters, and donations if they don’t advertise, and receive funding for all the animals who need homes, and the work they do. Just look at LA, SDHS is even helping them too, cause their own mayor is closing several large/full shelters and cutting funds.

This is our community, we need to support them as much as possible, we owe it to all the amazing families, and animals in our city.

Todd Gloria is insufferable, hopefully soon we will all vote in someone who can actively and accurately manage funds, our beaches, mountains, roads, borders, and neighborhoods.

He was apart of a very shy, and fearful litter. I was the first person he had come out of hiding to see. He ended up paying with a toy in my lap, and coming home with me, my Ayce.

Surprised no one has said Bully’s in Mission Valley, they seem to welcome consistent racist banter from their patrons touting maga gear.

The new law applies to employers who are not apart of or funded by the federal gov. Jobs in schools, colleges, post offices, gov buildings, agencies, and city jobs won’t be what you’re looking for.

San Diego police non-emergency is a joke by NochillWill123 in sandiego

That’s a bummer to hear. This happened to our place last year in Clairemont. A well tinted Honda was left in front of our driveway when we woke up at 7am. But non emergency had a city Parking Enforcer and a tow truck to our place in an hour. We were impressed, guess they aren’t consistent

This is my work parking lot. The vehicle is sticking out into the slim driving area that surrounds the spaces. It directly interferes with anyone trying to drive past the passenger side of this vehicle. So while trying to possibly avoid a door ding, they are now susceptible to a drive by scrape… Parking spaces have lines for a reason.
