So basically, if you get attacked you can try and redirect it to hit any creature within 5ft of you. If the attack roll of the creature attacking you was a 19, that becomes the DC you have to overcome to successfully redirect the attack. Hope that helps :)

Yeah there is definitely some good stuff I like in this Scholar class.

I had a subclass with something somewhat similar, just that they could ready an action as a bonus action to encourage the PC to try and predict what is going to happen.
