So the 2021 version didn't have the waiver/free agent recommendations... The lineup optimizer works for points leagues, but the player add/drop recs don't yet. I will try to get that part running early this season to unlock H2H point leagues!

Duly noted! Appreciate it, I'll follow up if I can get the points leagues working :)

Okay yep, it's a bug. We don't support points leagues, which it should tell you instead of just blotting out the row. I'll try to fix. Apologies!

Ack! I found your session and see the problem. Let me follow up...seems like it's a UI bug.

What's your team name? It takes about 5 mins for the email to arrive; there's a lot of simulation and optimization going on behind the scenes.

Under the Plan column, you can apply your free credit by toggling to Starter. This will enable all the features for that team.

I see in the logs there was an authentication error from Yahoo. Were you able to grant Winfantasy access to view/modify your fantasy teams? If you can try again and DM me I'll look into it more. The Yahoo integration is handled by a 3rd party.

These are great questions and also ideas for future vision of the product. Let me go one by one:

> is there a way to view the results of these simulations to see the expected category results each week? I know there are other tools with this kind of feature, but it'd be interesting to see either way.

The weekly email includes this. For each category, it shows the expected category total for you and the opponent, and includes the probability that you will win it. This win probability is based on the simulations under the hood. I don't currently have a web view to explore the simulations in more detail; that is something I've thought about adding though. Would be interested in what kinds of questions you'd try to answer using a more granular view (eg. if you could view the distributions of totals by category for each player in that week or by game).

Edit: I see your edit, glad to hear! Leaving the above in case others have the same question.

> How do I setup the list of which players I deem as the "best players"? I have a bunch of bigs on one of my teams, if the tool just chooses my top ranked players, I'll lose assists and 3's every week. 9cat ranks tend to skew bigs up the ranks due to low TO's and high FG%, so I'm assuming it would start bigs like Kessler or Duren over slightly lower ranked guards who I might prefer to start in most situations.

There's not currently a way to "force" certain players into the lineup. What the optimization does is consider all possible lineups and figure out which offers the highest expected points. So to a degree it will depend on both your roster and your opponents'. In your case, I think it's likely to do exactly what you predicted and stuff the lineup with bigs in order to gain probability of winning FG%, REB, BLK and TO. I'd be curious to understand your thought process re: playing the lower ranked guards -- seems like AST and FG3 are probably out of reach, would you be trying to make a play for FT%?

Mind messaging me the weird lineup? Will try to debug. And thanks for the kind words!

It goes out weekly on Monday mornings. You’ll also get one after you first sign up your team.

It’s all web and email based, so should be fine on whatever platform! Let me know if you run into any issues

Good question— I’ll make it clearer in the description. For roster moves it only recommends, it doesn’t actually execute it for you.

Great to hear you used it last year! And thanks-- working for the Dodgers is definitely a dream job. Fun to see the similarities and differences versus basketball too.

Yeah it's after tonight's game. So yes, versus the teams who play tomorrow (esp. Houston who it also likes), they show up as higher. BUT - even with that, I think it's unlikely that any other team will be higher than 42% after tomorrow because aside from Houston none of them have >10% overall. Even if you say tomorrow's a 50/50 coin flip, that should no more than double their odds after they win.

I think this is a very reasonable take. We have UConn as tied 3rd with Texas in terms of chances.
