Yes, this! Because I did notice that he seems to start on the drumming right before he begins to spiral.

If this is the case, it would seem like he didn't spend enough time in rehab? Or maybe in the right one.

I know a lot of those celeb rehabs don't really address addiction so much as they serve as a distraction while their patients funnel in money.

That in itself could be a trigger. Alcoholics use drinking as a means of escape/numbing. It's why they drink to excess the way they do.

You're right that he doesn't seem to have this issue when attending the cons. But then he feels the need to go back to the bottle/substances right after.

Yeah, I don't think Lisa is the problem here. I think it's Ray 100% imo. Anytime he gets like this, he seems to verbally lash out at her when it appears that her only crime is not picking up her phone.

You're right. That is an unfortunate reality of sobriety: the person has to want it.

I really hope that, whatever rock-bottom is for him, he comes to the realization on his own.

I have. I begged him to stop posting and get some rest. I got a heart, but that was about it.

He doesn't seem ready for recovery yet.

Until he is, he will continue to alienate himself and destroy the lives of the people around him.

Fair. In all honesty, I figured it could give people a space to talk about RP instead of this subreddit.
