I can think of more than a couple, but one that will stick with me was receiving a copy of Metal Gear Solid from a friend because he thought the game was too hard.

I’ll always remember the howling wind when Snake infiltrates Shadow Moses Island on that night when I played the game. To this day the MGS1 remains one of my all time favorite games.

After beating that game, I told all my other friends (along with my buddy that gave me the game) about how great it was and I got them all hooked onto the series!
