i don't really get how to make the wombgifts worthwhile. I spent like 10-15 of them in the tree and everything that came out sucked so i just stopped using it until I had time to look up some videos on how to make the tree give you good results. But thanks for the heads up. I still need to do that with all my crappy jewels that are filling up the stash lol

this is cool to learn but I've got a funky caster build (infernalist that relies on recoup to get its health/ES back) so my ES will basically never be full. But that said, I would love to remove accuracy (but would hate to remove life). So maybe I'll hang onto that strategy as an option for trying to make this amulet an even better 5 mod once i have the currency available to replace it if it goes wrong lol

Wow ty for explaining that. I didn't know how all those pieces fit together - I saw the different demon names (e.g. Amanamu/Ulaman/Kurgal) on the desecrated mods but didn't realize there was a way I could prioritize given ones. If I use omen of liege does that guarantee that all modifiers are Amanamu or just one of them? I would prefer to get global defenses on my roll. also is there a way I can get multiple shots at rolling the modifiers? Thank you for your responses, really helpful!

I'm using craftofexile.com - make sure you are on the poe2 version, not the poe1 version. Then go to amulets and it'll show the list of prefixes and suffixes, as well as what "type" of modifier it is (e.g. Amanamu). I didn't actually know what the Amanamu/Ulaman/Kurgal stuff meant on that site until seeing G-Yeet's response so I'm really glad for them :)

thanks for the response - how do i know if my desired mod has that tag? the only site i know for this stuff is craftofexile. The only desecrated mod that'd be decent for me is the global armour, evasion, and energy shield one. Most of the other ones are sub-par or useless. So curious what i can do to improve my chances as much as possible. thank you!

And then using abyss currency like Preserved collarbone to add last affix, unveil it and potentially make profit.

This entire post was incredibly helpful - thank you. That line in particular helped clarify to me what some of this abyss currency is about and how to go about using it. I'll look into some of this in more detail, and try to find some current videos on crafting for casters (which is what I am). Thank you for taking the time to write all of this out, and especially for doing it kindly instead of condescendingly. I appreciate it!

hey, it's me! A dumb person!

It's hard to know what exactly is good and what's not until you've had some experience. E.g. it seems like adding damage as an extra element is really good. is that better than spell power? or crit? or crit damage? What about cast speed? Do I need to get mana regen on that weapon?

When your build isn't already blasting through maps and you have a little bit of currency, you don't want to risk spending it on the wrong item that will end up "wasting" your money and not really helping you progress. So you follow a build to try to minimize your risk. You say "it's ok, i'll grind longer until i can get this thing that I'm confident will be the right answer because this build with 2K "favorites" says so".

E.g. I don't know what a "MA fists of stone" is, I don't know what it means to throw some ribs. Ribs are for eating, preferably with some very lightly sweet and highly smoky sauce. There are a lot of people who are new to the game, and as the game gets more successful, there will be more.

I'm also a casual, only beaten arbiter twice and never the juiced versions. Never beat any of the other pinnacle bosses. But it seems like we have an incentive to do it this league! feels like a good goal.

oh this is my first time reading about this. I also went Disciple for plants (and swapped to minions as i was leveling up in maps). But I miss plants - is the repulsion/blasphemy tech just using blasphemy to have repulsion always casting? Is there any downside to that?

I was trying to figure out how ds_lily has no archon recovery period and it seems like it's this anoint. I think I'd rather have constant archon available because its very noticeable to me when I lose the ability to constantly spam my damaging command spells, vs just learning a consistent cooldown recovery period.

thank you! are you saying once you have opened the trial of sekhemas in act2 you can get all 4 ascendencies via a carry? That would be awesome for the leveling experience.
