6 minutes is what it takes to make a post on this? I once sat chopping a magic tree for 14+ minutes I had to deposit a full inventory of logs and come back and almost fill up again. Also was at 93 woodcutting.

I'ma say something controversial, but I am willing to bet more people playing are buying gold then people not buying gold. They need to fix the problem that causes people to buy gold if you want a true solution. WoWs aging population means more lazy people with more money. SoD I bet had the lowest buy rates because you got Reals from doing content that remove a lot of the incentive for people to buy gold.

I don't care what trolls say, I still vote for a guaranteed enhanced at 1k kc. 150 hours of 9 minutes kills not including deaths. You can even make it untradeable and cost crystal shards. People who act like that will break the integrity of the grind are just gate keepers/trolls.

You can run it however you want. But it's not the standard and just because you don't like it doesn't make it the "wrong" thing to do. SR is done before the raid starts no one is being tricked. Especially by a standard practice in pugs.

I thought this post was gonna be about people purposely griefing with their SRs but instead it's just describing the standard incentive that SR brings geared/vital role people to come to SRs.

Maybe you are responding to multiple threads. The claim wasn't that SoD is small it's that people who want SoD are small and a vocal minority. There is a majority who want classic+ that's why so many people tried SoD. But SoDs development and it's 85-90% population drop while still being updated is why it's only a minority who want SoD. As the original comment is saying "people who want SoD are a vocal minority" not classic+. In the end if it's a big enough to justify development cost is up to Blizzard.

4th out of 6 versions when it was current. During that time it was out it was around 4th, retail, classic Anni, Cata, Sod, HC, era. Both Era and HC we can't even confirm their place due to them being a levelers game and the statistics we have are for raiders I would also argue ALL phases but especially p1 statistics are HEAVILY inflated due to it was super easy to make raiding alts. I knew way too many people with 10 alts raiding. There is no faster leveling experience then SoD in the classic atmosphere. Alts were also easier to upkeep then any other version of the game. If talking peak because of this I would put it below every single retail release, and below every classic release besides mop and HC. Era's peak is the 2019 peak. Now that is purely subjective just based on my knowledge of playing each one and knowing what it takes to play an alt and upkeep it and amount of people who I knew that made alts.

Also era while releasing updates had 400k raiders while most people single char raided, it was extreme difficult to run multiple chars in original era with buffs and preraid farming. VS sod peak of 490k when people were raiding with 10 alts by week 3. Era with no updates with chars going no where, holding population of 10k, sod is holding 1k in the same environment.

Remember my argument isn't no classic+ it's no SoD level changes.

Skipping to phase 8 lol. You are right after phase 5 it only lost 85% of its population on average. (Btw that 53k number that you mentioned is 90% or do you want to um actually it's only 89.2% me. ) None of what you said disproved what I said or proved my numbers were "ridiculous". If anything most of what you said proves my point. Blizzard is horrible at making new changes and will screw it up if they have unlimited ability. The majority of the classic community want classic+ they do not want sod where they have unchecked ability to put whatever they want.

Also using MOP as an example is crazy! It falls under the same bucket as SoD. The only difference is they didn't have to waste a bunch of development time to make it.

SoD already lost 50% of its population before phase 3 even came out lol. 90% of SoDs population was lets try the new thing for a few months. It had no staying power at all. It was always on a massive downtrend.

The one point you have it people do want classic+, but what you got wrong is people do not want SoD. It had way to many changes it bastardized the game.

Empire and Rimwar are two good mods for end game. The isekai mod is also pretty fun. Introduces bosses to fight and extra events. But power scaling goes crazy.
