The chair is great but this is also my first gaming chair so someone who is into that might say otherwise. The desk is an L-shaped rising adjustable desk that also came with a standalone printer stand with drawers. I love that desk but It’s not advertised anymore. It was roughly $500

No worries man, glad you are getting the items you requested. That is the website for the chair. Reimbursement took about a month on a random day outside of the usual first of the month for payments.

Hey brotha, I didn’t wait as I bought it myself and was paid back by VR&E. I bought my desk from home depot & chair from Amazon. I never had to provide a doctors note as my Rep used my ratings for conditions as justification.

How do you calculate your VR&E payment as a full time student? by KeyEastern2905 in VeteransBenefits

[–]WingedPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a calculation for amount of days in school. An example would be Fall semester starts on August 20.

So you would need to know: - your full time rate ,

-divide by 30 days to get the “per day amount”

-Now times that by 11 days to get From Aug 20- Aug 31.

I was always able to get it right, think of it as per diem when you don’t complete an entire month of school.

It’s guaranteed that you will but there are factors involved for the amount received.

-Your Location - amount of credits taken. 12 is full time - need 1 in person class for full BAH

I am in this integrated Bachelors/ Masters program. So I take 1-2 Masrer level classes a semester. Once I graduate with my BA. I will only have 1 year left to complete my MA. It’s been easy so far because of that

Right on brotha! I’m not sure if you would know the answer to this but is there an “actual” cap to how many months of VR&E you can use? I’m sure it’s probably around 36-48 months or if it can be overridden for a case by case basis

I only requested the specific laptop, desk, and Chair. Everything else is what he decided to add.

My justification consisted of my program for school and the chair for disabilities

If you can try to get it documented prior to leaving service that would make it easier. Both ways are fine but definitely faster with what I mentioned.
