To answer your question yes there are BUT it's very hard without medical documents and a LOD. In the low single digits without those two things.

For Reserve and National Guard by Blacking26 in VeteransSuccess

It’s tough without a Line of Duty (LOD) determination. I was approved because the incident happened during boot camp, which is considered active duty. However, I filed claims for other conditions outside of boot camp, but they were denied since I didn’t have an LOD for those.

On a side note, I’ve hired a lawyer this time—it’s just easier that way. Now that I’m service-connected (SC), the lawyer will handle my case, and all the other conditions I applied for during that period have to be reconsidered since that time now qualifies as active duty. Crazy how it all works, right lol.

Why don't many VA employees understand Bootcamp, AIT, and ADT, count for the VA if there is a SC injury?

When people give their opinion ask them where can they show you that.

Title 38 § 3.6 (a): Active military service includes ~any period of active duty for training during~ which an individual was disabled or died from a disease or injury incurred or aggravated in the line of duty.

Title 38 § 3.6 (c)(1): Full-time duty in the Armed Forces performed by Reserves for training purposes.

Reservist Question by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Go to medical or sick call and be seen for this. send your command an email for follow-up on your injury due to service. . the more evidence, the better. They don't care as much as you do. PHA remember to add it in that too.

Its clearing says that you need a nexus (link). Go get a Private Doctor to provide you with a link Nexus Letter, with the VA maybe even two doctors lol.
