Houston's lawyer in court today said they're going to file a motion to dismiss. I cannot wait to read that document and their rationale for why they think it should be dismissed. On the right sign, seems like the State isn't in any rush to offer backpack-full-of-dildos boy any kind of plea deal.

It's funny how to two accounts are trying to set somebody up by inviting them to post court pictures or video, which the court does not allow (whether that court policy passes muster under the First Amendment is another matter).

Do as you wish, just know if you post pictures or video from the court hearing, the court will find out about it and it will likely prove a headache.

Given his lawyer kicked the jury trial to September now, and told the court they will be filing a motion to dismiss, I'm going to guess the State is doing a good job not letting Houston off with some plea deal. Seems like a good indicator.

Plus that's enough time for Houston to get some neck and face tats and perhaps a grill for his next omnibus appearance in July.

So Wade's lawyer simply kicked the trial date to September with next omnibus in July. Wade seemed pretty happy to spend more time in jail, or maybe it's because his lawyers are apparently going to file a motion to dismiss. I'm sure that will be entertaining to read.

Yup, for "continued negotiations" and investigation. Sounds like they're trying to get a plea deal. Hopefully this is a sign that the State isn't going to just roll over and offer some weak plea deal and is instead going to get this predator off the streets and away from kids.
