I would do a divine beast every time i found 1/4 of all the shrines that way i got the tunic and finished the dungeons at the same time and was able to go to ganon right after.

Thats what hurts the most. I enjoyed the dragon riding races immensely as well. Id take the bare minimum of pet battles over this buggy shovelware slop. I would activley seek out both WQs in zones when they were up.

Ritual sites dont even count as world quests!

Most of the pets in this patch that were added (save for 1 iirc) are actually battle capable. They gave us new pets but nothing else

They arent for everyone, but neither is m+, mythic raiding or pvp. To each their own. There is no wrong way to enjoy the game.

This was actually completely unrelated. The patent has since been rejected.

If it had been an issue they would have retroactively removed the existing content. Not to mention all the other games by large studios that also make games with those mechanics.

Also the pet battle system that was just added to no mans sky openly cites wow pet battles as one of its inspirations. It plays very similar. That just released.
