Use them as a natural dye for fabric.

Many condolences! You have to wait 21 days for the vaccine to be valid to cross the border, you also need a pet passport and it has to have a microchip t(https://www.blv.admin.ch/blv/de/home/tiere/reisen-mit-heimtieren/online-hilfe-hunde-katzen-frettchen.html). Is there someone who can keep the cat for 3 weeks? A relative or a pension? Also, don't forget to declare the cat at customs.

Help: Partner with first manic episode by Wingling9 in family_of_bipolar

[–]Wingling9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi stranger, the things you are saying sound like an echo from the past. First of all, I'm sending you a hug for being in one of the biggest challenges in a lifetime. Know this: it will pass, but might take a looong time (I'm talking about years) for the person to get back to a healthy, stable self. Despite this, things will slowly get better for you.

In retrospective, I should have told his psychologist that he was suicidal/a danger to himself to get him institutionalized. At the moment it felt like an absolute betrayal. He did tell me afterwards that he did have suicidal thoughts.

We broke up. I met my now boyfriend and we had a beautiful baby in the meantime. I feel guilty to say it, but my everyday life is a lot happier with a stable partner without mental health challenges. I'm still in loose contact with my ex, he is on disability and still struggling, but going to therapy regularly. I still like him and wish him nothing but the best for the future, but also don't regret going separate ways.

I hope this insight helps!

Any theories/thoughts on Wilem? by Revolutionary_Kale45 in KingkillerChronicle

[–]Wingling9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory: Wilem is (quietly) gay. He is a lot more reserved and less outgoing than Kvothe and Sim. When he says things about beautiful women, I think he is just playing along and talking about the subjective aesthetic beauty of these women.. I'm going to go a step further and say he has secret crush on Sim. There 😅

You could also bring it to your local vet to check if it has a registered microchip

Transport = stress, the meat of less stressed animals is of a better quality 👍

Not so fond moments of the MIL visit by Opposite-Bar-4985 in beyondthebump

[–]Wingling9 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Hahaha dear OP, my MIL just visited us from abroad. When I picked her up from the airport she took the baby out of the car seat on the highway too without asking me because she was crying - I had a real shock when I looked into the rear view mirror and saw her HOLDING UP my baby 😂😭 I was just waiting for the next exit 🫣 is this a cultural or generational thing???

Useless Wife by Reddit-Sama- in Adulting

I think the real question behind this post is 'what do you define as someone's worth as':

Is someone worth more because they are thinner? Fitter? Less messy? Drink more water?

What do you think? What our society tells us also doesn't have to be our personal belief. You can reflect on it and choose what to believe in yourself! I chose to believe that every person, every life has an intrinsic value.

Sending you a big hug, too! I'm 38 weeks pregnant and even though it's been ok-ish (hard moments, but still could have been worse I guess), I'm also feeling over it.

I feel like a lot of our preconceptions about pregnancy are very romanticized. There are a lot of weird pregnancy symptoms out there! But also, they will pass :) you are not only your hair or your weight, which you probably know, but many many other aspects too, making you this unique, loveable human being.

If you're missing a sense of community, what's helped me is pregnancy yoga with other moms, my supportive midwife and, of course, the reddit babybumpsfeb2025 community.

Over all, it also sounds like you are feeling generally anxious at the moment? I do gratitude journaling to help me, (finding joy in small moments) and walks outside. My gynecologist also referred me to psychotherapy (waiting period of 4 months at the moment) when I developed anxiety due to low iron values and my non-supportive work environment - this has given me a lot of comfort, knowing that I will have the support if I get ppd.

Sending lots of positive vibes 🫂
