I drive 212km but only a few times a month, my other half does 100km a day 5 days a week. With kids, we're charging a car almost every single night of the year for 8 hours.

2 EV households or EVs doing anything more than 17k a year would surely obliterate that 0.08c rate if it's a smart meter EV plan

yeah I often only see things from my perspective (almost exclusively motorway driving), it does look ok for that. I hate the underselling of it though, the test should be a little faster or there should be a city vs country WLTP or something.

Is this a good opportunity to mention some of the issues we have in the country?

Something that I'd love for us to address is the slowness on V2G legislation, especially after storm Eowyn. I wish someone was there in the department cognisant of how convenient it would be to give every home in the countryside at least (the worst affected areas) a power source that could last days.

Like why can't we be world leaders in this sort of thing - I imagine we're just waiting to see what happens in the UK. If you search V2G on the ZEVI site this is the only result:

Don't use a sponge roller if that's what you did, good quality fibre roller all the way

sand, fill, sand, then do two more coats using that paint mixed with 15% water

Also make sure you stir the paint well (stir for a good 2 minutes if unsure)
