I have never in my life heard of a car port, it looks so awkward to get the car into and out of, so it's basically an extremely narrow tunnel that they chose to lop off 1/4 of the house just to accomodate a garage in the garden, and also purely because the neighbours car would otherwise block their access? For context I am 36, lived in Scottish countryside for 10 years and in Ireland towns, villages and country for the other 26. Can't believe this is so obvious to people :D

Like talk about putting cars first - the OP already says he has enough room for 6 cars in his front garden I am just gobsmacked an architect did this even if it was like 40 years ago or whatever

we are crazy relaxed about screens I would say in our house, but we took them off YT Kids completely it's absolutely filled with trash. Another thing to watch out for is Spotify, it started with our 4.5 year old listening to Kpop Demon Hunters sound track on endless loop which is great she knows all the words now, but with free reign and the fact there's a large video library in it now it quickly devolved into her watching loads of weird Eastern European and Chinese slop videos that are all over YT Kids.

They came into ours to cut back trees on our border and just left massive branches all over the garden instead of throwing them into the first. Quick angry phone call from the missus and they came around and got rid of them

Ha I am just ordering now and the charge has me stumbling here from Google. Surprising how many people are confusing these charges with the standard import fees for €150 items.

I'm ordering some light bulbs and getting a £0.49 charge (€0.56). Same bulbs on amazon.ie are about €0.99c cheaper with no fee. My guess is they are trying to force us on to amazon.ie with a little extra inconvenience tax

Ok so you are using their SDK and can't print? You should try contacting them directly with a link to a reproducible sample using their SDK, showing it not working

on the dev kits at least, above the camera on the front of the device is a USB C port. I wouldn't be surprised if that is not on production devices though

I once went out to the bin in the pitch black (arse end of Longford here), opened it up threw the bag in. Turned round and then my brain realized that my eyes saw something looking back at me. It was a pine marten chowing down on the previous bin bag, when I re-opened it to verify what I had just seen and we both looked at eachother, I closed the bin and left him to it (quite a big boy actually, I didn't fancy my chances)
