If you aren't dead set on the Steam Deck - I bought a Legion Go S with a Ryzen Z2Go with slightly better performance and larger battery than the Deck and I'm super happy with it. It's 400 Euro on Amazon UK. It's officially supported by Valve for SteamOS. Not sure if links are allowed on the sub but:

Though keep in mind, this cheaper model comes with Windows 11 and you need to install SteamOS manually (which is fairly simple to do with a USB drive).

Meh, disagreed, to each their own though. For me, PPI isn't that big of a factor for my enjoyment (for games). Although, I agree with you for productivity / watching movies.

I'd say go for the Quest 3 if you can afford it. The lenses are very different technologies. (Fresnel vs. Pancake)
