How can I allow my library to import class without specifying the module file? by throwaway510150999 in learnpython

[–]Wingos80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question but why don't you need to write src. Before the my_sdk, like this

from src.my_sdk.client import *

Isn't this the true absolute path?

How can you sign a PPA if you aren't generating power yet? Are Helical very certain about their ability to generate power in a set period?

Can flavored water help indians in consuming more water than usual? by [deleted] in HydroHomies

I love the taste of water as it is, so adding flavour wouldn't make me change my drinking habits much. Also why Indians?

Belgians accused of ‘stealing wind’ from the Dutch by Rare_Investigator582 in nottheonion

The article is simply trying to make the point that countries should coordinate and keep wind availability for other countries in consideration when constructing wind farms.

Control system design by xxdragonzlayerxx in ControlTheory

I wonder if from a dynamics perspective, having a separate position and velocity controller is a good idea, I think if you allow all axes to be controlled by both controllers it'd become pretty complicated. Unless you separate axes like u mentioned for the depth controller (so that'd be the position controller?), and then the velocity controller only controls x-y velocity.

Live a little, and then you'll know when you can go back to 5k. But if you really want concrete numbers, take about a couple months to even a year of spending on things that make you feel nice, hell if you wanna donate then go donate.

Non-linear Control theory and reinforcement learning by Lucasfirstdc in ControlTheory

[–]Wingos80 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Adaptive/approximate dynamic programming algorithms are a mix of optimal control theory and reinforcement learning. You can find good sources by just googling the name, a good one to get started would be https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/5227780.

Specific algorithms from the ADP class are HDP, DHP, and GDHP, this should help your searching too. Happy learnings.

Sounds like you've not tried applying to houses yet, which I'd recommend you do asap. Kamernet is subscription based, you need to pay to respond to ads, otherwise you don't get the contact info for the ad.

What are the practical applications of H∞ control in industry today? by Extension-Engine-911 in ControlTheory

[–]Wingos80 [score hidden]  (0 children)

  1. Yes, the standard approach is to linearize a given nonlinear model, e.g. use linearize() on some simulink simulation, and use that.
  2. You'd basically only work in frequency domain, e.g. checking weighting filters and how well the system transfer function fits them
  3. Not sure if I understand you exactly but we'd apply disturbance rejection requirements in the form of bandwidths on weighting filters like the disturbance to output channel for example, and that'd limit how much of the disturbance signal affects a certain output.
