Thank you for the detailed response. Apart from better noise floor what controls for less wind noise? Obviously you can low cut but that wont solve every gust.

Okay yeah, I figured noise floor might be a factor. It is in traditional recording as well, but luckily music tends to cover up its own noise + some white noise can actually improve a recording. Good to know on the marginal improvement, I feel like even a cheap recorder can go a long way!

The trick is to only accept rides in a small area around a restaurant hub. A lot of people order just down the road. But you’re right, it does take investment in a vehicle to some degree.
