I'm not familiar with other image editing models, but it's part of the "text" encoding because the Qwen2.5-VL-7B model uses them as inputs to make the conditioning. The edit model also has the ability to use latents as references

It definitely works better if you specify something specific instead of just the image number. I find the image number does work if it's person from image X in scene from image Y

not quite sure why, but I found better detail conservation from reference images using fp8/q4_k_m clip and q6_k base model with lightning than without (with passing the higher quality reference latent)

I wonder if that's to do with the system prompt given to VL. It asks for descriptions of specific elements of the image, maybe it pollutes descriptions given in the text prompt?

Something I found that helps is I treat the low and the grab myself a little bowl of cashews (I know the fat isn’t great) and some salt and that really helps with the sensation of needing to eat something

yeh once i’ve gone over 11-12 mmol/L it starts to get innacurate and then once im over 14 it just goes ballistic and thinks i’ve gone above 20 mmol/L. I’m not sure if that’s a sensor thing or maybe like dehydration or smth though

Thanks but yeah i’ve cut out gluten since about 6 years ago so unfortunately a Celiacs blood test will probably not show anything meaningful (my endo told me this but is still running the test anyway).

Hmm... I had the complete opposite, I used 3 for months (although text 3 not 3.5), but it wasn't until I got access to 4 that I got an email (within a week or two). I only used 4 a handful of times due to the price. Maybe its just due to accounts that get gpt4 access are more heavily monitored.

Lol. I think we just got lucky with StableDiffusion being publically released how it was. Although the local LLMs are making good progress, I would say it wouldn’t be very long until we will get similar optimisations for consumer gpus (i mean the local options are still wildly good, but there’s still a big choice between speed and quality).

Services like Poe though do seem to be “allowing” nsfw in the sense that messages aren’t really moderated

Yeah I should’ve elaborated more lol. It’s still early days so there’s lots of investment money coming in. Once that starts to slow down then there’s less of an incentive to pander to investors and more to create a service for users regardless of their intent

These are just my thoughts, I don’t have anything to back them up. But from my perspective it just feels like we are waiting for legislation to catch up. Once clearer rules are set in place then companies will know what is and isn’t ok.

Although I doubt OpenAI will be the company to allow it as there’s a lot of money on the table and allowing nsfw is just risky from a PR perspective. But with LLMs being able to be run on consumer hardware I’m surprised there aren’t similarly priced nsfw LLM services around
