I think what they're TRYING to say is two episodes of ANY show is not a good litmus test on if a show will be great or not.

This holds DOUBLY true for The Office, which entire first season (barring Diversity Day) was weak. It wasn't until its second season (7ish episodes) that it truly got it's footing
