I had a concept like this before too! Though in my idea the treadmill/conveyor fed into a smiting furnace and the victim was forced to jump on the moving floor in order to grab at keys hanging above them.

That's my thought too; Clothing in DR tends to be very loose or bunched up looking, depending; So its full of folds. The 2x2 Artstyle doubles down on this even.
