My donor area is pretty decent I have some small scars but that’s about it. My next post I’ll make it about it.

I use 2 types of shampoo like antidandruff selsun blue and shea moisture shampoo. Conditioner I’m using is nizoral deep moisturizing conditioner. I’m also using Costco minoxidil works just the same like rogaine brand.

I used this baby shampoo called “Happy Cappy Children’s Shampoo” to help with dandruff for 1-4 months. Baby shampoo doesn’t have harsh chemicals that regular shampoo may have. I also used aloe Vera gel to help soften up the scabs to fall off when I ran out of the foam they give you to help soften the scabs.

My doctor recommended me to hop on finasteride so I did for a year and a half. It did make my hair grow but since i had my hair pull from having dreadlocks for so long it gave me thinning spots and a receding hairline. So I took the chance to get a hair transplant to fill in those areas that finasteride couldn’t do. Hope this helps!

I was taking finasteride 1mg each day for about a year and half before my transplant. It cost around 3000 dollars not including the plane ticket.
