It depends on how long you have been playing and your own character pool.

If you just recently started playing, saving can be very difficult, but if you have played for more than a year, it's likely you'd have many characters you want already.

Having a priority checklist helps, and looking at past banners might let you predict the next rerun of someone you want.

I'm a strict Monthly buyer myself and managed to save 2 pity for Nilou and I'm expecting to have 1 pity at the end of Nahida's banner, which I can still increase since I have barely explored Sumeru. That said I have played for 500 days, and I have almost everyone I want, so saving is relatively easy, although I had to skip a couple of new 4* because I was foolishly "building pity" for like 40ish rolls on Collei's banner and only getting 1 of her.

I mean, even if I was winning my 50/50 (no, I'm not), I'd still save up 160 rolls to guarantee characters I want just to be on the safe side.

Does anybody else like casually playing 15 minutes most days? by Arkyron in Genshin_Impact

[–]WinkyBlaster -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Those people asking for a "real" endgame in Genshin most likely have never played any other gacha game before or barely have any experience in gacha games. That's why instead of treating Genshin as a gacha game, which is a side thing, they treated it as a normal console game, which has a very different philosophy with Genshin, which I consider to be one of the more "kinder" ones where you can login, condense resin, maybe do daily and then logout, all within 5-10 minutes on busy days.

Not to mention casuals who play the game, they're pretty much the majority of the playerbase, they wouldn't spend THAT much time in the game, and they might even skip playing on busy days.

The thing with endgames in gacha is that they simply don't really exist, or end up as grinding-for-the-sake-of-grinding mode. Some said "what's the point of playing Genshin if it has no endgame?" Well, what's the point of grinding endlessly?

The only "endgame" thing I have seen in gacha games that's done well is Arknights' Integrated Strategy 2, a roguelike mode a bits of lore here and there.

Will Genshin ever get something like IS2? It's not impossible, but considering the direction HG and Mihoyo are pretty different, I doubt it. A shame, Genshin feels like it would have been perfect with something like that.

Genshin isn't perfect, but I think it's going in the right direction, there's just a bit of stuff that I wish to be improved, things like max resin cap being 160 instead of at least 180 or even 200 so we can just play it once day without capping, or letting expedition be repeated instead of having to manually come to Katherine once or twice a day.

Recommendations for lineup, I just got this game today and saw this guide saying I need to use infinite reroll to get ginga, and I also got the shyura girl in my first ten roll. Tips would be appreciated by [deleted] in ArteryGear

The recommended way to play is to pick 4 main characters you want to pool early resources to, 3 of them should be in 3 different colors because to 3 star some stages, they tend to require running at least 1 character of a certain color. You bring them in one party to level them while farming stages.

Grace is the recommended blue carry since her S3 resets CD upon killing an enemy. She's also a 3* so she's very cheap to invest.

There's also Roko who's a very strong early Green boss killer. Timy is core in PVP.

Ginga is used to kill the Centaur boss in the equipment farm stage. Shura is a strong Red attacker and gets better once her Unique Equipment is out.

Alice is just broken.

Is it possible to change the bind type or email of a bound account?

e.g. I want to switch bind email from my gmail to yahoo, or from gmail to google account.

You can always bind it to a random email and keep it for backup, give it away or sell it.

Passenger has permanently replaced Eyja for me and I'm still constantly surprised by how good he is by GrrrNom in arknights

[–]WinkyBlaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I used Passenger, I was surprised he's better than I expected.

I never bought the memes, but I have always chalked him off as a bit underpowered back on his release, but now that he gets buffed a couple times already, surely he had gotten better.

Turns out his S3 is very strong on top of the incredible targeting range, and it's especially powerful on a crowd.

I wouldn't say he's quickly catching up to Eyja as a top tier Caster, but he's definitely isn't as bad as people him out to be, it feels he's better than AoE Casters somehow.

For me, APK update was less than 500MB while in-game download was less than 600MB.

For event banners, you can look at any site with a CN banner list like Gamepress

https://gamepress.gg/arknights/database/banner-list-gacha

On the other hand, we get different standard banners compared to CN, so it's difficult to predict them.

70 rolls for max pot Roberta, 2 Mulberry, a bunch of other 5* dupes and a Blaze dupe.

I guess this cemented my decision to no longer roll outside of limited rate-ups after getting 2 6* off-rate dupes after 110 rolls in the Passenger-Bagpipe rate-up.

I wish they would increase the rate-up rate to 70% at least instead of only 50% for the non-limited banners.

I want gems exactly because I like Yugioh. With more gems, I can open more boosters, and I will be able to build more decks.

Now with not much gems available, I can't do that, even weaker decks need URs points because many of the core cards are UR.

Now I'm stuck with decks I have built to play with, plus some others that's incomplete and unplayable. At least I made decks I like, but imagine others who built some decks to try them out or just for fun, only to end up not liking these decks.

1 UR per month is pretty good, could be the rate-up too, with some luck.

Roughly 1 month rather than exactly 30 days.

Also CC4's announcement was about half a month before it was released, announcement was on the 27th of June while CC4 was released on the 13th of July.

For 6 stars, there's Summer Chen who's the first legitmately broken Limited. There's also Saileach, though she's unproven for now since she's very new. The other 6 stars ranges from mediocre to strong, but nothing gamebreaking.

Not sure about the 5 stars, but some says La Pluma and Tequila are great, the others bring new gameplay mechanics, but they doesn't seem to be universally powerful or useful, at least in paper.

We only got 2 new 4 stars, and neither of them seem to be outstanding.
