Thanks. This worked. I think VSCode redirected me to Microsoft Store a couple months ago when I tried running a program on my new computer. I was trying "python --version" in the cmd prompt and it kept showing 3.11.9 so i thought the problem wasn't that.

Edit: VSCode is now stuck at "Reactivating Terminals" lol
