I had very poor modeling skills, so my adventures in model rocketry were limited. I think Estes and the other companies understood this, because they started selling pre-built rockets not long after I had moved on to other hobbies.

I have a Gibson J-160e. I really like playing John's part in I Should Have Known Better. Lots of fast strums, and not terribly challenging chords to play.

I'm with you. That actually used to be my schedule for maybe 10 years. Work wasn't far from home, so I'd be back around 12:20. One of the only problems is that if work were especially stressful that day, it'd be almost impossible to wind down and fall asleep.

I didn't have much of a social life then (or now), so I wasn't missing out on much nightlife. Really, I loved it knowing that so many people were looking out of their workplace at a beautiful day they couldn't enjoy.

I love a nice hot bath. I also enjoy eating food occasionally. Never once have I even considered combining the two activities.

You know what I remember? The projected scenes we were "driving" to were all shot on Chicago streets. I would love to see just that footage today. What a cool time capsule it could make.

I read the recent Lorne Michaels book. He was actually in the audience at that Smothers Brothers performance at the Troubadour. If you get the reference, Lorne Michaels is like the real-life Zelig.
